cuddle buddy, a sequel

donghyuck sighed once he got himself together, jaehyun still rubbing his back. taeyong was upstairs, talking to mark.

"hyuck, this is what couples do, they have their falling outs. but you two need to agree with something in order to make it all work out. he still loves you, don't worry about that part," jaehyun stated, looking donghyuck in the eyes.

"hey, mark wants to talk to you, hyuck," taeyong said as he came down the stairs. jaehyun gave him a small smile. donghyuck stood up, fixed his shirt, then headed off in the direction of mark's room.

when he got there, he softly knocked on the door before opening it. the moment the door was closed, mark had his arms wrapped around the younger. donghyuck sighed, wrapping his arms around mark's waist.

"i'm sorry, babe. i don't know what happened, and you didn't deserve to be snapped at. you know i love you and would never even think of hurting you. you forgive me," mark asked, in such a way that it broke donghyuck's heart.

"you don't even need to ask," donghyuck chuckled, pulling mark into a hug. mark sighed, arms wrapping tightly around donghyuck.

"are you okay, though," donghyuck asked, hands resting on mark's face gently. mark nodded, a slight smile on his face. donghyuck sighed, frowning slightly.

"you better turn that frown upside down before i kick you," mark laughed, causing donghyuck to laugh. mark's laugh was infectious; if you heard it, you laughed along, too.

"that's more like it, hyuck," mark smiled, which earned another smile from donghyuck. 

"how about we go walk waffle," donghyuck asked, waffle barking when he heard his name. mark nodded, a smile on his face.

donghyuck grabbed the leash, and he put it on waffle's collar. donghyuck held the leash out for mark to take, but mark refused.

"i think he wants to get walked by you, babe," mark chuckled, looking down at waffle, who was watching donghyuck's every move.

"i guess you're right," donghyuck laughed, reaching out to intertwine his hand with mark's. mark smiled, his heart starting to race. he couldn't believe that he was going to marry this adorable man next to him. he just can't seem to wrap that around his head.

"i love you," mark mumbled, smiling at donghyuck.

"i love you, too."
