everyone went back to mark and donghyuck's house, which proved to be just a little too small. they had to move furniture around so they could all fit in the living room. leave it to them for having so many friends. although they were given the option, the two decided to sleep out in the living room with the others.

"do you want me to order pizza or something," chenle offered, slipping out of the way of johnny, who was currently trying to figure out where to move one of the chairs. everyone within earshot of chenle nodded which prompted him to pick up his phone.

mark went upstairs to fetch as many blankets and pillows they had, laughing a little because he knew some of them would have to share. he carried them downstairs (in actuality he dropped them halfway down the stairs and ended up kicking them the rest of the way).

once he finally got them all down the stairs, he threw them on the couch. waffle jumped up on the couch, fully grown but still acting like a puppy. he eventually warmed up to donghyuck; there were times mark would come home after work and see donghyuck cuddling him on the couch.

"they said the pizza will be here in around thirty minutes," chenle returned from one of the rooms, throwing himself next to waffle. mark found himself noticing how much he's grown up, how much he's matured. the green hair he had when he was younger now was a pretty strawberry blonde, which suited him. his attire barely changed, he still wore skinny jeans with minimalistic shirts.

he pondered the possibility of him and jisung getting married one day. they stuck by each other like glue. almost like swans, who stay by each other's side once they find one another. he knew it was still too early to even think about marriage but it was still something to look forward to.

"pizza's here," someone yelled, which snapped mark out of his trance. he must've been there for a while and didn't even notice it. whoever opened the door (it was doyoung) paid for it, his treat. both donghyuck and mark were grateful for every single one of them.

"let's eat," doyoung called happily, laying the boxes off pizza down on the table. they gathered in the dining room, yuta going into the kitchen to get drinks. they respected the two newlywed's wish: no alcohol was going to be in the house. besides, they were more than happy with soda and tea.

"congratulations, to the two best boys in the world," taeil toasted once they all had their drinks, blue and red solo cups raised into the air. donghyuck raised his along mark's, touching them together. mark had his other arm around donghyuck's waist, holding onto him, afraid of losing him (although he knew perfectly well he won't). everyone cheered, cups clanking a little as they were met by other cups. donghyuck put his forehead against mark's, his hand going up to cup mark's face.

all mark wanted to do was climb on the highest rooftop and yell how much he appreciates everyone in his life. he feels like he's on top of the world; he always feels this way with donghyuck. his spirits are lifted whenever he's near the younger, whenever his name is mentioned. the love for his friends radiated off of him in times like this. they were his family, nothing could pull them apart. he wouldn't allow anything to.

he's been given the honor to be a part of a group of people who love and support no matter what. he's been given the honor to love lee donghyuck, the one ray of sunshine he's been looking for his whole life. he's been given the honor to see his younger friends grow up before his eyes, to see them mature and fall in love, to see them find who they really are and to not be ashamed of themselves.

"to all of us, to our friendship," mark toasted, wiping his tears from his eyes. jisung smiled at him so gently and softly, and in that moment, the love for the youngest poured out of his heart. he walked to him and hugged him, crying. jisung was shocked at first but hugged back, fighting to keep his own tears back.

"ah, sorry," mark chuckled when he pulled away, face flushed red and eyes watery. jisung shook his head and jungwoo laughed a little at the scene. eventually, all of them were outside, and the world stopped. mark and donghyuck were on top of the world, and no one could remove them from that throne. even if they tried.
