cuddle buddy, a sequel

"we haven't hung out one on one in such a long time," ten smiles at donghyuck, who was taking a drink of his coffee. he nodded his agreement, a wide smile on his face.

"i don't think we ever did hang out one on one, actually," donghyuck chuckled, resting his head in his hand. ten shrugged, happy that he can hang out with him now. 

"we did. remember when johnny and i were bothering you? about you and mark getting together?" ten asked, his eyes shining at the memory. donghyuck thought for a second, and then a smile grew on his face.

"i do remember that. that was when we both were confused. my god that was so long ago," donghyuck covered his face with his hands, blushing. ten laughed, patting donghyuck's hand once he put them back on the table.

"have you thought about who's going to be your best man?" ten asked, taking a sip of his tea. donghyuck shook his head; it was true. he haven't thought about it yet. mark asks him all the time, but he never put any thought into it.

"i mean, if you want to be my best man, you can. do you?" donghyuck asked, knowing it was sudden and practically unplanned. 

"yes," was all ten said, before the two of them started laughing. ten was extremely excited for mark and donghyuck. he remembers when they were just cuddle buddies, when they barely knew each other. ten almost couldn't believe it. 

"i'm so proud of you two. i can't believe how far you guys have come," ten stated, causing donghyuck to blush brightly.

"thank you, hyung. i appreciate it," donghyuck chuckled, taking out his wallet to leave a little tip. he then stood up, ten motioning for donghyuck to go first. 

"what else do you have planned?" donghyuck asked, chuckling as ten linked his arm with donghyuck's. 

"just hanging out. so, no," ten responded, the two of them walking around downtown.

"did you come down for the wedding?" donghyuck asked, enjoying the sun on his face and the birds singing. kids were running around at the park, and dogs were barking.

"yea, you dummy. why else would we come?" ten laughed, hitting donghyuck playfully in the shoulder.

"because you missed us?" donghyuck asked in a mocking tone. 

"pff, as if. actually, we all hate you two," ten laughed, hugging donghyuck. donghyuck sighed, wrapping his arms around ten's shoulders. 

"we probably look like a couple," ten mumbled, earning a chuckle from donghyuck.

"but seriously, yes we came down for the wedding. johnny and i talked to the others and we all agreed to come. it was harder for jaehyun, because he was in america," ten said, earning a nod from donghyuck.

"oh about that. can you tell me how taeyong and jaehyun reacted when they saw each other?" donghyuck asked, a smile on his face. ten chuckled, rolling his eyes.

"well, johnny, jaehyun, and i already agreed to surprise taeyong by flying jaehyun in. taeyong, obviously, wasn't doing that well without jaehyun. so, one day, we invited taeyong over to our house. and of course, jaehyun was hiding. but he chose the weirdest place to hide. wanna guess?" ten laughed, looking over at donghyuck.

"knowing jaehyun, i wouldn't be surprised. just tell me," donghyuck shrugged his shoulders, earning a smile from ten.

"well, he hid in the trunk of our car. when we came home, johnny asked taeyong to go and get something out of the trunk. so taeyong agreed. johnny and i watched as taeyong unlocked the trunk. next thing we know, he's hugging jaehyun and crying and then i start crying. jaehyun just held him, petting his head and shushing him. it was really emotional," ten finished, donghyuck's heart racing. 

donghyuck couldn't imagine being separated from mark for that long. even a day apart has him scared. he's so in love with mark that it affects him all the time. he gets lonely even if mark is in the next room. i guess you could say that donghyuck needs mark just as much as mark needs donghyuck.
