"hey, jeno's coming over today with renjun," mark called to donghyuck, who was in the kitchen. it was a day before the wedding, and those two were the other ones who haven't been over in a while.

"god, it's been a while since we've seen those two," donghyuck responded, walking out with a glass of water in his hand.

"they wanted to come over before the wedding. i think they invited the others, but i'm not too sure," mark informed, hand resting on donghyuck's thigh the moment the younger sat down.

"why? they'll see us in all our glory tomorrow. i still can't believe our day is tomorrow," donghyuck smiled, looking at mark with an amazing amount of passion. it made mark's heart race, but then again, everything donghyuck does make mark's heart race.

"me neither. i'm so excited, i'll finally be legally yours," mark chuckled, kissing donghyuck quickly.

"i want to see jisung all dressed up, that baby up there, so cute," donghyuck laughed, taking a sip of the water. mark nodded, he was also curious as to what jisung would look like.

"uh, lucas said him and jungwoo would go a pick up the cake for us," mark said, sounding a little uncertain.

"what if lucas starts to eat it," donghyuck asked, a look of mock fear on his face.

"jungwoo wouldn't let him, believe me. renjun should be here soon," mark stated, kissing donghyuck before he got up to go and open the door.

and right as he did, he saw jeno and renjun drive up. he could see jeno waving at him, a smile on his face. mark went outside to go greet them, everyone all smiles.

"mark lee, it's been a while," renjun exclaimed as he hugged mark, jeno joining in on the hug.

"hyuck's inside, c'mon," mark stated, leading the two boys inside. when they entered the house, donghyuck practically yelped, flying up and hugging renjun and jeno. mark chuckled, heading into the kitchen to get snacks and drinks for the others.

"also, we invited the others, get ready, they'll get here soon," jeno said, taking a drink from mark with a smile on his face.

"oh, good. did you all have something planned or what," donghyuck asked, arm slung around renjun's shoulder.

"we just wanted to celebrate our friends marriage," jeno responded, smiling at both mark and donghyuck.

"we appreciate that. we really do," donghyuck responded, looking over at mark fondly. while they shared a look, renjun and jeno did, too.

"also, we invited a friend over, someone you guys have never met before. his name is taeil," renjun said, kind of worried that mark and donghyuck wouldn't like the fact that they did that.

"oh, that's doyoung's boyfriend, right? i'm more than willing to meet him," mark cheerfully said, chuckling as jeno threw his arm around his shoulder.

they heard a knock on the door, and renjun quickly ran to go get it. when he opened the door he saw that it was johnny and ten. ten hugged renjun, johnny following suit.

"ten, johnny, hey," donghyuck said, happily hugging ten. mark hugged johnny, then jeno did.

"we thought it'd be great to have these two come over, considering they're already married," jeno informed, johnny and ten looking like the proudest people in the world.

"who wants to bet jisung's suit is going to be blue," ten asked, smiling cutely. everyone agreed, it seemed like a thing that jisung would do.

"i got a text from jungwoo, they're on their way. how many people are we expecting," mark asked, slipping his phone in his pocket.

"oh, you know, everyone. plus taeil, doyoung's boyfriend," johnny said, shrugging his shoulders as if it wasn't that big of a deal. mark chuckled, pulling donghyuck next to him, hand on the younger's waist.

"shoot, i forgot that doyoung had a boyfriend," donghyuck chuckled, shaking his head a little.

"you guys will love taeil, he's really cool," jeno said, walking into the kitchen to get another drink. renjun shook his head, mouthing a sorry in mark and donghyuck's direction. mark just chuckled, not caring.

there was another knock on the door, but no one answered it. it was, not surprisingly, chenle and jisung, and they just let themselves in. typical of those two.

"my bestest friends," chenle announced, hand grasped tightly with jisung's. ten cooed, completely in awe with how cute chenle and jisung were.

"well, looks like you two are more open with your relationship," donghyuck mentioned, a wide smile on his face.

"yea, no thanks to you all," jisung responded, chuckling a little at the end of his sentence. mark couldn't get over how grown up they both look. he remembers when jisung was just a small kid, at the age of 15.

"anyway, let's all go outside, there's more space out there than in here," donghyuck suggested, nodding towards the sliding door. renjun and jeno went out first, with the others following suit.

"we'll be out in a little bit," mark called, earning a thumbs up from chenle. mark pulled donghyuck into a hug, holding him as close as possible. donghyuck smelled like vanilla today, which was one of mark's favorite smells.

"i love you," mark mumbled, rubbing his hand slowly up and down donghyuck's back. donghyuck closed his eyes, just wanting to be in the moment.

"and i love you, too," donghyuck sighed, hugging mark a little tighter. tight enough to probably crush the poor boy.

"tomorrow's our day, baby," mark said, pulling away just to plant a kiss to donghyuck's forehead.

"our day," donghyuck responded, leaning in to kiss mark gently, still holding him like he's never held him before.
