The next day when Nikki realized her mistake. She was in a pang of big guilt. She wanted to apologize to his brother. As Sonakshi told her everything about last night, she also consoled her to keep calm and ask for forgiveness.

"Dev... I mean... Mr. Dixit is hurt by your words. Of course, anyone would be!!" said Sona consoling Nikki. "I'm sorry Sona Di. I really didn't know about what had happened" sighed Nikki. "I want to cheer him up... What should I gift?" she asks excitedly. Sona and Nikki think about what should be gifted.

At office. Dev is seemed to be totally involved in his files. "Sir the Doctor has arrived," says Tina entering the room. "Hmm... Send him in" orders Dev who's still involved in the files. "Sir can I ask you something?" asks Tina. "Yes," Dev replies. "Are you fine?" she asks and he looks at her. "I mean... Doctor!! Is Ishwari Ma'am fine?" she looks concerned. "Ahh... Yes. Don't worry. Send him in." orders Dev and she leave obeying.

"Hello, Mr. Dixit," says the new voice.

"Hello, Dr. Singh." greets Dev.

They both sit on the sofa.

"Your reports are out" Doctor sounds tensed.

"What is it?" Dev asks.

"Idea" Sona's excited voice jerks Nikki a little. "Sshhhh... Di. Relax Di... Everyone will get to know" warns Nikki in a husky voice. Sona makes a sorry smile while Nikki asks "What is it?". "A day out!!!" she says happily. "But Di.. He's so stubborn with his work!! He'll never go for an outing," says Nikki. "He will go dear. Don't worry" Sona smirks.

"I'm sorry Mr. Dixit. It is... It's bacterial meningitis." declares the Doctor.

Dev shots a confused glare.

"Meningitis is a brain disease. And it's a severe one." Doctor says.

"Severe one?" asks Dev.

"Yes. In this disease you get irritated due to bright lights, you face severe headache, vomiting, body pain, high fevers, uneven breaths.... "

Before Doctor could complete Dev asks him to hold on.

"How much time do I have?" asks Dev.

"Mr. Dixit relax" Doctor tried to calm him.

"How much time Doctor?" His voice was stern.

"See... There's no such thing. But I can estimate six months or less." says the hesitated Doctor. "Although your treatment will be on... And we'll try our best through vaccinations. People generally don't die in this" He adds.

"Doctor. Please don't hide anything from me. I have to do many things in how so much time I have. Please be clear" Dev's voice turns shaky.

"Well Mr. Dixit I know that.... Trust me... We'll try our best to save you. Actually, there are only 10% of cases in which patients die. And 10-20% patients suffer paralysis" declares Doctor.

"I'm in those 10% right?" Dev asks and Doctor nods hesitantly.

"Don't lose hope... Everything will be fine. The treatment will begin soon" Doctor says getting up from the sofa. He leaves patting Dev's shoulder who was still shocked and didn't know how to react.

"Di we'll go to the beach what say!!!" Nikki says excitedly. "You will get beaches in Delhi!!!" glares Sona. "Haww... Aren't we going out of the city?" Nikki was excited. "No dear... Think someplace in the city only cause Mr. Dixit could refuse going out of the city right!!!" Sona makes her understand. Nikki nods.
