19. He and his family

"Maa...." Dev runs inside Ishwari Nivas happily. "Maa, Neha, Riya, Nikki" He chirps happily while Sona follows him silently glancing his happiness.

Everyone comes out. "What happened Bhai?" asks Nikki. Everyone was confused to see various shopping bags in his hand. "These gifts!! Is this all for us?" Nikki asks happily. "Yes my princess, for you, and for everyone in this family." He cups her face.

"Nikki" Neha interrupts fuming. "We don't need anything...." she glares at Dev. "Handle your company on your own from now!! And don't try to play with our emotions"

"These gifts are for our family, Dev is guilty for whatever he did....." interrupts Sona.

"Oh please!" Neha fumes. "You are the only reason he has forgotten his responsibilities towards his family! So what happened suddenly? Are you trying to cheat us again?" she yells glaring at Dev.

"Neha please" Sona fumes.

"What please? Do you even know what has he done? Maa suffered an heart attack because of him! He has married you without Maa's permission!! The one who used to even breath for us.... Do you have any idea how it feels when your expectations are hampered like this?" she cries. "Riya is handling his so called business with all his humiliations! He humiliated Riya's to be husband, in front of whole media!" she yells.

Dev was all silent while Sona was worried about his health. He was hurt, hurt beyond repair.

"....And today! Today even when Maa went to meet him in hospital, what he did? He made fun of us saying that all the property is still his!!" Neha was angry.

"I'm.... I'm... Sorry...." Dev whispers while a lone tear fells down his cheeks.

"Wow that's nice!!" Neha interrupts taunting. "Do you think we are toys? We don't have any emotions?" she cries. "I can't believe I'm talking like this with my own brother! Who once was the pride of the family!" she yells.

Dev's head was hurting again like a hammer. He was confused about the pain as because according to the reports he was all fine.

Meanwhile Sona was all worried about his state.

"I'm... Sorry" and he faints.

Everyone was shocked seeing him. "Dev" Sona rushes and shakes him. Ishwari was teary eyed meanwhile Riya too rushes to unconscious Dev. "Bhai" she pats his cheeks. "Riya please call Dr. Singh" says Sona. Riya nods.

Few tears rolls down Neha's cheeks but she wipes it away.

Dev was laid on his bed with the help of kichu bhaiya and Sona. Dr. Singh reaches at the moment. "It's just he is weak. Nothing to worry" He informs after checking his pulse.

"By the way, you all need to take good care of him. He needs proper meal and care..." Says Dr. Singh before leaving.

"Dr. Singh" Sona rushes to him before he leaves the house. "How's exactly Dev? I mean..... I lied to him and even then he's fainting abruptly" she enquires.

"Dr. Bose actually it's not like that. It's him who knows that he's all fit but when he's hurt to the extent, his mind still behaves like before. It's like keep him happy and you'll definitely feel a change." He informs. She thanks him and he leaves.

Dev was still unconscious when someone enters in the room. Sonakshi, who was caressing Dev's forehead, gets alerted. She thinks something and hides behind the curtain.
