20. I Trust You

"I'm very excited Sonakshi....." Says Dev before getting inside his car. She smiles while her eyes were welled up thinking about their destiny. "Oh Sonakshi.... What happened darling!" He wipes her tears from the corner of her eyes.

"Darling and all!! Not bad Mr. Dixit" says she in a teasing way.

"Ahem ahem" He cleared his throat. "My wife is so beautiful that the word 'darling' is invented for her.... By the way are you jealous Dr. Bose?" He teases her back.

"Oh really Mr. Dixit! I'm actually quite jealous but you know what my husband is a heart throb of the town....... But he's only......" She crosses her arms on his shoulder and they touched their forehead together.

"But he's only?" He asks huskily roaming his hands on her waist.

"But he's only..... MINE...." she replies huskily.

Dev blushes and she smiles at his innocent face.

"So now.... It's your turn to be jealous... Mr. Obhodro" she whispers near his lips.

"But I'm not jealous at all..."

"Aha.... Why?!"

"Cause my wifey is so bold, she's a perfect definition of beauty with brain!" He whispers near her lips and now it's her turn to blush.

"How can you be so confident at that?" she asks pushing him a bit.

"She has the solution of my every difficulty. She's different and she is......" He stops and cups her face.

She looks in his deep eyes, after so long, and the first time in valentine's..... She was living those moments which she had always wanted to.

"But she is?" she asks him continue, without hampering the contact of their eyes.

"She is.... MINE. always" his words fills up her eyes all sudden.

"She's always there, by my side." He wipes her brimming tears. She holds his hand which was resting on her damped cheeks.

"She's there, whenever I need. She's there whenever I want, and she's there even whenever I scolded her to leave me.... Cause she knew that I need her every second of my life. She understands me, she cares for me, she trusts me and I....." He stops whispering all this while their eye contact finally got disturbed by this.

"You?" she asks slightly pressing his hand on her cheeks.

"I trust her... The most" He whispers kissing her forehead.

She feels her chest tightening in pain. He trusts her! Of course he should! But who's she to play with his feelings? Who's she to hamper his trust?

She hugs him, with her face bury in his chest and hands surrounds him.

"I love you Dev...." she cries. "I love you so much"

"Sshhhh...." He caresses her hair.

"I love you..... And I value your trust..... I love you" she keeps crying.

He just remains silent and hugs her softly.

"Dr. Bose, by the way I have a deal for you" He says and she looks at him, confused and snivelling.

"I can't cheat my wife.... But you can be my personal nutritionist" He chimes and wipes her tears.

"So mean of you Mr. Dixit!" she chuckles. "What if I refuse this deal?"

"So I'll punish you!" He replies.

"What punishment?" she asks confusingly, when again she feels his arms around her waist.

"You have to kiss my lips now"

Her eyes widens at his words.

"Now Dr. Bose" before he completes, a soft pair of lips were pressing his plumpy ones, she was licking his lips passionately.

"I'm impressed!" He chimes.

"I love these type of punishments Mr. Dixit" she says huskily.

Dev blushes at her bold antics.

"I... I should leave now Dr. Bold Bose" says he. She winks.

He proceeds towards his car. But she interrupts his way by stretching her arm to block his way.

"It's Mrs. Sonakshi Dev Dixit for you" she chimes.

"Okay fine Mrs. Wild, Desperate, Bold Dixit... Now may I take your leave?" asks Dev, holding her hand.

"Oh yes of course" she makes a side.

"Dev..." she calls out from back.

"Yes?" He turns.

"Don't you dare to forget your medicines!" she warns.

"Ok boss" He smiles.

"Dev" she calls again.

"Don't forget to follow the diet chart as well"

"Okay boss" and he turns to leave.

"Dev"

"Yes?"

"Don't stop picking up my call." she says and her heart turns heavy.

"Okay Boss" He chimes and turns again to leave.

"Dev...."

"Yes...."

"Keep giving me updates about your well being" she sounds tensed now.

"Okay okay okay boss. Now may I leave?" He asks stretching his brows.

"Dev...."

"Mrs. Sonakshi Dev Dixit.... Please complete your investigation once... I'm waiting" says he resting his palms in the pockets of his pants.

"I love you"

This makes his eyes welled up all sudden. "You know, I'm feeling like it's my first day of school" He chuckles and she smiles.

He turns to leave finally and sits inside the car, wipes the corner of his eyes.

"Get started" He orders the driver and the engine was turned on. Her image dizzes as the car moves out of the house. She too wipes her tears and stands on the same position until the car disappears.

Quick question: Who's that one strong person in your life whom you admire and want to be bold like him/her and why(only if you want to share the reason)? (It can't be always that special mate I know but still there must be someone!)

Short update cause the target isn't completed and secondly I'm quite busy with so so so many stuffs.

I'll try to update as soon as possible.

Coming to the story, I tried to make it romantic and I don't think that I'm so well at writing romance.... Though I tried.
