13. Revealed

"Dev" as Sona reaches hospital. Dev was been taken inside the ward. "Maa stop" says Sona rushing towards the unconscious Dev who was laying on stretcher. "Where is Dr. Singh?" asks she. "Sona, have you gone mad? At least see his condition." Asha was confused. "Actually Ma'am Dr. Singh is busy in an operation." the ward man says. "We should take him inside.... I think he needs urgent treatment.... And we're having other doctors as well!" He adds.

"Dev...." Sona cups his face and caresses his hair, with her eyes filled out of tears. "Sona please let them take him" Asha pulls her away from Dev. "I'm sorry" she hisses slowly near him and kisses his forehead.

The wardmen takes him.

Sona and Asha was desperate to know about his condition. Sona was wondering what if everyone comes to know about the truth? While Asha was confused about Sona's reaction.

"Maa... You can leave.... I mean now I'm here!"

"Don't you want me to be here?"

"Of course I want! But.... Dev isn't anyone to you.... Then you should leave"

"He isn't anyone but he's a human. And moreover he came here with me.... I'm not going to leave"

Though Sona tried but remains unsuccessful as Asha was stubborn. She has decided to know about the reason of his sudden losing of consciousness.

Doctor comes out after a while. And Sona's heart keeps jumping in her chest. "How's he Doctor?" asks Asha.

"Actually he's fine..... He got an att-" before Doctor could complete, Sona asks "Are you new in this hospital?" she asks.

"Sorry?" asks doctor with the same confusion as Asha.

"I mean... I'm a doctor as well...." Sona introduces herself.

"I want to check him once... I mean you are looking as newly appointed!" Says she to the young doctor. "As you wish" Doctor gets confused but allows her for get in with him.

They both get inside to unconscious Dev. "Dr.?" Sona asks his name. "Dr. Arun" He introduces. "Okay I'm Dr. Sonakshi and he's my husband. I know about his case and condition. You don't need to inform anyone outside this room." But it's wrong as per hospital rules" He asks. "You know his condition is worst.... And he needs treatment" He informs. "Treatment can't help him.... It's meningitis." she cuts.

"Oh okay.... I didn't had done those tests. I mean... He's unconscious because of low blood pressure"

"What!!!"

"Yes Dr. Sonakshi."

"Please call Dr. Singh if he's free" she orders a nurse.

"Sure Ma'am."

"By the way.... Till when is he going to gain his consciousness?" she asks caressing his head.

"With in few minutes".

"Is everything alright Dr. Sonakshi?" Dr. Singh enters in the room. "Actually he has skipped his medicines of today's morning. And is unconscious." as she explains Dr. Singh keeps checking Dev's nerves.

"I had always warned you to make him take medicines, didn't I? How can you miss them!!" Dr. Singh scolds a bit. "I'm sorry doctor.... I'll be careful next time?" she says tensed. "Fine.... I have given him injection. It'll help him recover for now" informs Dr. Singh.

After a while.

"Sonakshi...." Dev mumbles. "Yes Dev... I'm here...." she holds his hand and caresses his hair. He opens his eyes. "You are in hospital...." she informs seeing his confused gesture. "I had always told you to take your medicines on time... You idiot" she scolds as the tear rolls down her cheeks. "I will miss to trouble you" He says with a weak smile and teary eyes. "Dev please..." her voice cracks. She keeps rubbing her thumb near his lips. "I'm sorry" He hisses. "Don't be" she kisses his forehead.
