"Sonakshi.......I.......I......will.......die........." He murmurs when she rushes near him. "Sshhhh Dev..... You are safe and at hospital...." she consoles rushing towards him and cupping his face.
"My.........family........hates.........me........"
"Dev" her tone was changed to scolding one. She shook his cheeks to make him open his eyes.
"Everyone.............hates......me"
"Dev get up" she shook his shoulders.
"I........can't.......bear........hatred......." He cries.
"Sshhhh Dev everything is fine..." she whispers.
He abruptly opens his eyes and sits up with a jerk.
"Dev!!" she was amazed.
He huffs and after a while, he wildly snatches all the injections pierced in his skin.
"Devvv" she gets scared and worried. She tries to shush him, she tries to console him cupping his sweaty face. But he slaps her hands away. "Nooooo..." He yells, panicking. "I will die...... They hate me..... I will die..... They hate me...." He mumbles continuously staring blankly at floor.
She remains standing scattered. He was wild and was behaving so abnormally. He can't be The Dev Dixit! she has met!
"I will die....... They hate me....... I will die....." He keeps mumbling.
"Dev" she tries to get near him.
"No... Stay away" He warns in a childish tone. "Stay...stay away".
"Dev please" she cries. And Dr. Singh rushes.
He orders ward men to hold him tightly. Two of them pins him on bed, the other two were holding his legs and a nurse injects him some medicine to drift him in sleep.
Slowly his struggle lessens and Sona, who was witnessing everything, remains standing like a numb.
"I.......will.......die....... They.......hate.....me" His murmurs finally stopped when nurse made him wear the oxygen mask.
"See..... I'm telling you..... A lie is the only thing which can give him some life! Trust me he'll not deny for the treatment after that" says Dr. Singh to numb Sona, who didn't knew how to react. She hummed and he left patting her shoulder.

The next morning,
He slowly opens his eyes to find her already staring at him. "Did I............?" He realizes that he doesn't remember about last night.
"You... You aren't wishing me morning..... Did I...... Did I misbehaved?" He asks a bit confused.
"Dev listen" she softly caresses his cheeks. He looks at her. "You can never misbehave..... I promise that" she whispers kissing his forehead. He smiles weakly.
The disease is slowly destroying his memorizing power!! She knows.
"Good morning Mr. Obhodro" she hisses kissing his plumpy lips.
"Beautiful morning" says he after completing the kiss. She blushes.
He manages to sit and she helps him.
"Today you're going to be discharged!" she says playfully.
He sighs.
"Dev... Aren't you happy about it?" she tries to cheer him up.
"Hmm yes.... After all after few days I'll be here again" He sighs and she abruptly places her fingers on his lips.
"I have a news" says she.
"Riya got married or did she sold my company or did my family disowned me?" He chuckles in a serious tone.
"Shut up" she fumes.
"Then is it that if I'm going to die tomorrow itself?" He laughs.
"You aren't going to die!" she declares abruptly.
He was silent.
"Yes Mr. Obhodro this is the truth!" she hugs him happily and wipes her tears on his shoulder without letting him to notice.
"Wh....What!!!" His voice was more a whisper.
"Yes........ Your reports are out and there's nothing major, it's just you need few treatments that's it" she mentally hits herself for the lie.
And the first thing she notices is,
A very happy and excited Dev, his eyes were cheerfully glancing at him. He was so excited to live his life.
"Sonakshi" He chirps hugging her all excitedly. "There will be us...." He chirps while his happy tears touches her shoulder.
He was full of life, all sudden, just because of her lie.
"Sonakshi....." her chain of thoughts was broken when he shook her shoulder.
"Yes Dev" she asks placing her palm on his cheek.
"Sonakshi..... I..... I have been gifted a life!! We have been..... Gifted to live together!!" He cries happily face palming himself.
She hugs him abruptly.
"I can live.... I can..... I...can live with you....through all my life.....I can.....I can get my family back..... Now no one will hate me!" He cries happily in her embrace.
"I'm sorry Dev" she thinks caressing his back.
"Maa, Neha, Riya, Nikki everyone..... Everyone will be as before, we will live together...... We all will....." He sounded so happy.
"Yes Dev... But only if you will cooperate with doctors for all your treatments" says she, wiping her tears.
"Sonakshi..... If you are there, then nothing to worry......" He chirps tightening the hug.
"I love you Dev" she tightenes her grip as well.
And both of them cries for different reasons.
