25. Mysterious

"Sonakshi bhabhi" chirped Nikki when she say her near ishwari nivas.

"Maa, Neha di, Riya di..... See who's here." she calls out everyone.

Everyone seemed surprised at the arrival of Sonakshi.

"Don't you dare to come inside" yells ishwari.

Sonakshi, who was weeping all her journey, looks at her.

"Why are you weeping? After ruining this family?" yells neha.

"Say It Sonakshi.... You're brave enough" Dev says. He wasn't there but was on call, secretly hidden in her ear, under her hair.

"He......he.....cheated......on me"

He secretly disconnects the call.

"He can't do that" Ishwari yells.

"He did it Maa..... He left me......" she cries.

"What he did?" Neha asks.

"He was cheating on me...... And when I caught him..... He blamed me for not satisfying him" she cries louder. Only she knew how difficult was it for her.

"He can't cheat you..... He left his family to live with you!" Nikki interrupts.

"I used to think same........ But he threw me out..... Now where will I go?" she cries falling on her knees.

"You will stay with us" Ishwari's voice was cold but concerned.

"But Maa..... You know bhai can't do this" Neha interrupts.

"I said Sonakshi is living with us from now!"

As planned, few days passed. Sonakshi, all this while, tried contacting Dev, but in vein.

"Sonakshi" she feels a whisper near her ears, and a soft touch on her cheeks.

She opens her eyes.

It was Dev, smiling at her.

She smiles back.

He softly kisses her eyelids.

"I miss you...." he hissed near her chin and kisses her neck.

"I miss you more" she cries and hugs him tightly.

But he disappears.

She wakes up.

Sonakshi was bitterly crying in her room, remembering about their moments together.
When suddenly she notices her phone was continuously buzzing with a call.

She picks it up.

"Dev?"

"Ma'am.... This is me..... Dr. Arun."

"yes Dr. Arun" she wipes her tears.

"The reports are fake"

"What!!"

"Yes and those effects were created in his head through medicines and shock treatment. I'm sorry I'm somewhere responsible"

Her world has shook upside down. She was happy somewhere....... The disease because of which her world has changed......doesn't exist even!!!!

Meanwhile on her way, she keeps calling Dev but he remains unreachable.

She reaches home. And was shocked to see the scenario.

The TV was switched on and the reporter said, According to the sources, Mr. Dev Dixit has met with an accident...... We don't know how and where is he now...... He's now a mystery for everyone...... Police has found his identity cards on the accident spot........ It is really a mystery..... Where is Dev Dixit? Is he even alive?

Ishwari gets hurt badly. She was about to faint but Sonakshi handles her with a glass of water.

Meanwhile, her phone keeps buzzing but she ignores the call and deals with Ishwari's weakness.

Her daughters rushes to hold her.

Riya, keeps passing a glare at Sonakshi, but she ignores the eye contact with her.
