21. Treatment

"Tina I need every details about whatever has happened in my absence." He orders entering in his cabin.

"Sir Mr. Oberoi wants to keep a meeting with you" she informs.

Dev smirks and says "Give him the appointment"

"Pleasant surprise Mr. Oberoi!" He chuckles and both of them sits in Dev's cabin.

"The question is simple, what will you like to have in return of Riya?" Dev's question was straight forward. He was back in action, he wanted to remove all the disturbing elements from his family's life.

"She is my fiancé Mr. Dixit!" Mr. Oberoi defends.

"But you must be very clear that I am not satisfied with this relationship!" Dev says in the same bossy tone.

Mr. Oberoi remains silent.

"Listen, to be very honest, I am not liking your decision of marriage..... But I can repent! Tell me how much money do you want?" Dev offered.

Sonakshi, who was listening everything from the door was shocked to find Dev so irritated and that too on Mr. Oberoi!

"Think about it and I'm hoping a 'no' from you in future" Dev ends his conversation and was standing with his back towards her. Mr. Oberoi was silent and Dev asked him to leave for now.

Sonakshi enters in his cabin. He was sitting on his chair and was rubbing his fingers against his forehead.

"Are you fine Dev?" she asks rushing to him and cupping his face.

"Ya don't worry I'm all good"

"Anyways I'm here to pick you up for the treatment" she informs and he makes faces. But after many insistence of her, he finally nods his head in a 'yes'.

They were at hospital and Dev was asked to wear patient's uniform. He was irritated and this made Sonakshi laugh at him.

"You look so cute while making faces" she laughs?

"Stop making fun of me! I don't want to wear it..... You said it was a regular treatment, then why uniform and all?" He enquires.

"Firstly Mr. Dixit.... You promised me that you will not do any tantrums regarding treatment. You're behaving like a typical example of a kid, who hates to go to school" she laughs making fun of him while he keeps making faces.

"Sona.... Do I really need to wear this?" He asks making a puppy face. And this can't stop her to go awful for him.

"Stop your tantrums dear husband and do as I say! I'm a doctor and you have to listen to me!" she chuckles.

In between all their conversation, Dev has finally worn those uniform and was laid down.

(Following treatment is written according to my imagination... Though I've read an article about the shock treatment.... So this may not fully wrong but not fully right as well! There may be no such kind of treatment but don't worry I'll try to keep it real)

"Now lay at your place." she orders and he slips at his place.

"Now you have to look at me okay.... It'll probably pain a lot but.... You trust me right?" she caresses his hair. He simply nods.
Slowly an injection is pierced inside his skin. And the world around him, looks blurry.

"Sona I...." He was about to say but fails.

"Dev... Look at me okay.... Don't close your eyes" she asks holding his hand.
