Today was the day that Guns N' Roses would be shooting their music video for Patience. Stephanie and I were both invited to the shoot. Today the director would be filming just the band playing. The director will be editing the video later and add segments of the band wandering around in a hotel. Each of them would be doing their own thing. It sounded really cool. The director would call the band back a few days after today's shoot so he could add more details to the video.

We were now at the studio the band would be performing their song. Stephanie and I were sitting where the sound technicians were sitting behind a window where the band could be seen from. They technicians were controlling the volume of how loud the guitars would sound during the song.

The video shoot hasn't started yet. We were just sitting and chatting. The band was already at their places on the couch that was in the studio. Stephanie and I were sitting on a couch in the room where the sound technicians were with us.

"So how are you and Duff?" Stephanie asked me.

"We're fine." I said.

"That doesn't sound too assuring judging by your tone." Stephanie said.

"I mean we're fine in the sense that we are not fighting with each other. I think Duff is hiding something from me." I confessed.

"What? Is he cheating on you?" Stephanie exclaimed.

"No, he isn't cheating on me. I think he's using drugs, but he doesn't want to admit it. A few months back we went to a party that was hosted by Motley Crue at Vince's mansion. Duff was gone for about a half hour when we got to the party. When he came back he said he wanted to catch up with Tommy Lee. I think both of them might have used some type of a drug because both of them had that glazed over look on their faces. Maybe I'm just paranoid. I even saw two punctured wounds on Duff's forearm by his elbow. I asked him about that, but he quickly brushed it off." I admitted. What if Duff is using drugs?

"It's tough to say." Stephanie didn't know what to say about this circumstance.

"Maybe Duff is fulfilling the rock n roll philosophy: life fast die young." Amanda thought out loud.

"I think you two will work out whatever this is." Stephanie assured me.

I hope we can, I thought. I tried to think positive, so why do I hear a voice in my head that's telling me that my worst fear could actually be a reality?

"I think so too." I replied to her.

"All right. Let's begin." Paul Smith yelled. He was the same director from the video Sweet Child.

(AN: I will be including photos from the video with lyrics. Amanda will share her thoughts while she is watching the video being shot.)

Duff started the song by saying: One, two, one, two, three, four. After that the guys started playing their guitars. Axl started whistling. Steven was sitting down and not doing too much. He wasn't playing drums on this song.
