We just arrived at the band's apartment. I felt a bit nervous. I don't know why. When I talked on the phone with Duff, I was ready to meet the band.
Duff sensed that Amanda was quiet and he reached over and took her hand in his. "Babe, there's nothing to be nervous about. The guys will like you."
"You're right. I'm just being silly." I said to him. "Let's go meet them." I squeezed his hand in agreement.
Duff smiled. "That's my girl." Duff got out of the car and before I could open the door, he had already opened it. Chivalry wasn't dead after all. We walked up one flight of stairs and we stopped at a door that had the number 13 on it. The door was unlocked and we walked inside the apartment.
"Duff, man. Is that you?" A guy with a very black curly hair said to Duff. I was surprised he was able to see anything from his hair. His face was pretty much covered from his hair.
"Yeah, Slash. I brought my girl, so everyone please be on your best behavior." Duff chuckled at him.
"You got it. No problem." Said the blond guy who was sitting next to Slash. He was the drummer for the band. I remember him from the concert. He was so happy and energetic. He smiled at me. "So Duff, is this the famous Amanda?"
"Yep." Duff wrapped his arm around my waist and kissed my temple. I blushed. I smiled back at the drummer. His smile was so contagious. You can't help but smile at him. He seems like a nice person. Beside him sat a girl with dark brown hair. She was talking on the phone, but as soon as she saw me she hung up on whoever she was talking to.

She got up from the bed and came up to me. I thought she would shake my hand, but instead she hugged me. I was a bit surprised, but I hugged her back. "I've heard so much about you. I couldn't wait to meet the girl who has made Duff act like a teenager. I'm Adriana. I'm Steven's girlfriend."
"Nice to meet you." I replied. She was a very social person. She reminded me a little bit of Stephanie. I think that's why our friendship works: we have very opposite personalities. I think she and I will get along.
"Duff, you sure have picked a good one. I like her." Adriana said to Duff. He smirked at her statement.
"Couldn't agree with you more. Blondie is my girl." Duff agreed. "Don't you think so, babe?" He said to me. He kissed my cheek. I smiled at him. I wasn't used to so much attention.
"Where's Axl?" Duff asked.
"He should be back soon. I think he mentioned that he was out with Erin today." Steven said. "If you ask me, I think he's whipped. He even wrote a song about her."
That got my attention. "Really? What's the title of the song?"
"Sweet Child O' Mine." Steven replied. "Our manager has been suggesting that we should make a music video for it. The song is about her. I don't see why Axl doesn't just make a music video of him and her. Why does he need the rest of the band." Steven was rambling.
"I think it's sweet. She must be his muse if he wrote a song for her." I guess I'm a romantic at heart. If someone wrote a song for me, I would be the happiest girl alive. I guess I'm a sap when it comes to romance.
"We're a rock n roll band. We write about sex, drugs, chaos, violence, and frustration." Slash said. "We don't really write songs about romance. That's what the pop groups and pop singers are for. They sing about mushy crap."
The door opened. Axl and a girl with a wavy brown hair walked in. She seemed very pretty.

"Looks like we got company." Axl said while he looked my way. The girl next to him I'm assuming is Erin. She seems friendly and a bit quiet.
"Yep, this is my girlfriend Amanda." Duff said.
"It's nice to meet you all." I said. "Isn't someone missing?"
"Izzy is at his girlfriend's place. He won't be here tonight. He said to tell the band that he will see us tomorrow at the place." Axl explained.
"What place?" I asked.
"We are going to be shooting the music video for Sweet Child O' Mine." Axl explained. "I guess I'll be seeing you there as well." Axl said to me.
What was going on here? Did I miss something? I looked toward Duff. "What is Axl talking about?"
"We will be shooting the music video. Originally the video was going to center on just Erin. We talked it over and we thought it would be cool if we brought our girlfriends as well. So, in a sense each of us has a Sweet Child in our lives. I thought it would be cool if you were in the video too" Duff smiled at me.
This sounds so sweet. I really like the idea. I doubt it if my parents would let me go. They've started to accept Duff. My mom is still not a fan of him, but as soon as Duff mentioned the words rock band, my dad accepted him. I guess it must be the inner teenager in him that accepted Duff. "I would love to be in the video." I replied. Spending a whole day with Duff and the band sounds amazing.
"Great, babe." Duff replied and he gave me a quick peck on the lips.
"You two are so adorable." Adriana gushed. "Don't you think so, Stevie?" She turned and looked at Steven.
"Yeah, they sure are." Steven said. He was drinking whiskey from the bottle he was sharing with Slash.
"Sounds we are all on the same page then." Axl announced. "See you all in two days. We'll be shooting it on Huntington Beach in some ballroom. That's all I know. We'll be basically rehearsing the song and the director will be shooting like a behind the scenes of us while we're just hanging around."
The more Axl talked about the video, the more I was looking forward to being in the video. I just hope my parents will allow me to be in the video.
