It was a cold morning. Snow covered the ground outside and heavy snow was still falling at fast pace. I could see the neighboring kids next door playing in the snow, some doing innocent tasks like making snow angels and building snowmen while the other rebellious kids were throwing snowballs and making snow forts. I smiled and ripped the covers off of my body to tend to the door bell ringing downstairs.

I opened the door to see my mailman dressed in warm attire with a hint of crimson on his cheeks and nose from the cold. He handed me a few letters with my address written on them. "Sorry to bother you ma'am, I just wanted to deliver to the door so you wouldn't have to walk in this freezing weather." He said, smiling behind his scarf. "Thank you! But you must be freezing! Would you like some tea?" I asked politely. "No, but thank you for such the kind gesture. I most get going!" He said, giving another smile when lowering his scarf, the walking back in the trail of foot prints in the deep snow her had left. "Oh yeah! Miss?" He said, rushing back to where I was. "There was this too, my apologies." He said, walking away once again. I looked at the package in my hands for a second but piled the letters on top of it.

I closed the door and sat on the couch, turning on holiday themed movies. I laid my back on the couch and covered my legs with a small, fuzzy blanket. I looked through the letters, most of them being Christmas cards from friends and family. Although, one caught my eye. It was in a purple envelope with gold letters written on the front.

I opened it in curiosity, my cold fingers ripping at the top of it easily. When opening it, it was sent by someone by the name of "Amber Liu."

It read,

'Hello gorgeous! You're probably wondering why you have a mysterious letter from a complete stranger. Well, to your advantage, in a lot closer than you may think.
I just wanted to say that you're beyond stunning in every way possible. Also, I wish you the best of wishes this holiday season.
But, the twist to this letter is that I have a request. Tonight, I'm watching a collection of Christmas movies and I thought it would be nice to have some company. I'll even provide hot chocolate!
You've known me for some time, you've just never spoke to me. So, I assure you that I am not some creep.
But anyways, what do you say? I'll be waiting at six for you :)'

I smiled and opened the small box that came along with it. It was a fluffy Pikichu onesie with some packaged hot chocolate mixes. This made me happy and definitely made a decent day better. But, something else caught my eye. It seemed like the back of a picture.

'Maybe this will jog your memory of who I am' it said. I flipped it over.
