Song: How Great Thou Art
***
"Alec you cannot climb the toilet paper display!" I tell Alec who wants to climb the toilet paper display so he can get a certain type.
"But why not?" He asks.
"Because you'll break you neck." I say. Ok he might not but whatever.
"So you do care about my well being?" He asks smirking.
"No!" I say.
"Ok, fine! I won't climb it. What's next on the list?" He asks.
"Umm, Pop tarts." I read what came on the list after toilet paper.
"To the pop tart isle!" Alec screams throwing his hand in the air. I shake my head at him. I push the cart after him. He had Mason sitting on his left shoulder and Matt on his right.
"Umm, Nerd, where is the pop tart isle?" Alec asks popping his head into the isle I was still in.
"Come on." I say and we walk to the isle. We grab pop tarts and then go to get milk.
"Auntie Zoza, I need to go potty." Matt says.
"Alec will you take him?" I ask not wanting to take Matt into the women's bathroom.
"Sure. Come on, buddy." Alec says.
"I wawwa go too!" Mason says.
"Let's go, buddies!" Alec says and takes them both in the direction of the bathroom. Well at least now I can actually concentrate on getting the groceries. I grab everything else on the list before walking towards the bathrooms and waiting on a bench for the boys.
"You got everything already?" Alec asks me coming out of the bathroom with the boys beside him, "How long were we in there?"
"Yes, and a very long time." I say standing up. We walk to the check out and all three boys help me put stuff on the conveyor belt.
"Auntie Zoza, can we have candy?" Mason asks.
"Your mom's paying for it, I don't care." I say. "What do you want?"
"N&N's" Matt says.
"Eece's!" Mason says. Matt meant M&Ms and Mason meant Reece's.
"Alec, do you want candy?" I ask Alec. He looks at me with wide eyes and nods his head rather violently. I laugh at him and he grabs a Hershey's bar from the rack while I get the twins their candy and the mini Reece's pack for myself.
We put them on the conveyor belt with everything else. I go around and put the shopping bags in the cart with the help of the twins. We tag-team it. They stand in the cart and arrange the bags while I hand them to them. They're surprisingly strong for 6 year olds but even so, I have to set down the heavy things like milk and two liters of pop.
