"Finally free!" Alec throws his graduation cap into the air, only for it to hit him on the head on its way down.

Anyway, it's finally graduation.
Alec and I have been together for over a year now. We broke up for about three days a couple months ago because I got mad.

Yeah, well, about that. I got mad that he forgot our anniversary.
Well, I thought he had forgotten our anniversary.
Turns out he remembered. He had a huge trip planned out for us and he was going to surprise me that night.
But that morning when he pretended to forget, I got mad and ignored him completely for three days.
Fortunately, we weren't actually go to leave for the trip for a week after our anniversary so I didn't ruin it.
So basically, I jumped to conclusions and that caused me to break up with him.
