"No."
"Zola. Come on." Manda says, twirling a tube of something in her hand. "Only a little. You'll love it."
"You said that last time!"
"And the last time was also the night Alec asked you out!" She points out.
"I...uhh...shut up." I say, crossing my arms and staring at myself in the mirror.
"So, is that yes?" Amanda asks and I can see the hope in her eyes through the corner of mine.
"Fine." I cave.
"YES!"
And she goes to work. Don't ask me what she was doing because I don't know. In case you were wondering Amanda was helping me get ready for my date with Alec.
After about an hour she says she's done. Finally. She then picks out an outfit for me before doing my hair. All she did was curl it which I was thankful for. I put on the outfit she picked out for me which was blue ripped skinny jeans, a white shirt, a flannel, and combat boots. I already had my mom's necklace on and that was my only jewelry.
"Ok. Now grab your phone and go downstairs." She instructs me. I nod and grab my phone as she leaves my room. I follow after her down the stairs. Alec is already here as well as Skye. Skye was taking Amanda home once I leave. They were standing in the kitchen talking to Jax, who was making dinner for Bexley, the M Twins and him.
"Hi." Alec says looking me over.
"Hi." I say and grab his hand, resting my head on his shoulder.
"You look amazing." He whispers in my ear.
"Thanks. You don't look so bad your self." I say. I wasn't lying. He was wearing a gray t-shirt with blue faded jeans and black tennis shoes.
"I always look amazing." He then does a hair flip with the hair that he doesn't have resting on his shoulder so he just hit the air dramatically. I roll my eyes.
