"Thanks for the ride. I'll probably get Alec to bring me home." I say to Austin who drove me to Alec's.
He nods, "Ok kid. Just text Jax or Bexley when you're on your way back."
"Ok. Bye."
"Bye!"
I walk up to the front door and knock. Their dog starts barking and I can already hear kids screaming and Declan telling them to shut up.
"Hi!" A girl, probably fifteen, answers the door. "Who are you?"
"Oh! I'm Alec's girlfriend. Is he here?"
She gives me a questioning look, "You sure?"
"Yeah..."
"Really?" She cocks her head to the side. "Because no girl has ever come here for Alec. Especially not one that looks like you."
"I know, I know. It's weird but she is actually his girlfriend." Declan comes into view, holding a baby.
"Who is it, Jasmine?" Linda steps into the entryway. "Oh hi, Zola. Come on in."
I step inside and they lead me to the living room. Alec runs in through the back door, a boy chasing him with a pool noodle.
The boy stops when he sees me, dropping the pool noodle. "Well hello there."
"Uhh, hi?"
"Joseph stop hitting on your cousins girlfriend." Peter booms from the couch.
"There's no way he could get her!" The boy, who I assume is Joseph, says.
"NERD!" Alec tackles me to the ground.
"Ow."
"ALEC! Get off of her!" A lady, who looks like an older version of the girl who opened the door, says.
She takes the baby from Declan and pulls Alec to his feet. Alec then helps me up.
"Alec. Why don't you introduce the family to your girlfriend?" Joey says.
"Oh! Nerd, this is Jasmine, my cousin. This is her brother Joseph, that's their little sister, Jemma." He first points to the girl that opened the door, then to pool noodle boy, and then to the baby that Declan was previously holding.
"Hi." Jasmine says.
"Hey." Joseph says.
Alec points to the lady holding the baby, "Thats their mom, my aunt Jane."
"It's wonderful to meet you, sweetie." Jane says to me.
"You too."
"Now what about your sweet old Grandma Mallory?" A little old lady comes into the living room, wiping her hands on a dish towel.
