"AUNTIE ZOZA!!!!" Matt screams running into my room followed by Mason.
"Morning, boys." I say unburying my head from my pillow. Matt comes to the side of my bed and scrambles to get on. Mason tries too. Key word: tried. I pick him up and set him on the bed.
"Awec's here." Mason says
"So is Skye and Manda." Matt adds.
"Of course they are." I mumble and get up. I walk into my bathroom, the twins following me. I pull my hair into a ponytail and then quickly brush my teeth. I look down at my pjs and decide against changing yet. I was sleeping in a gray tank top and black pj pants.
I walk downstairs and am greeted by the smell of waffles and voices coming from the kitchen. I can hear Alec and Jax both very clearly. I go into the kitchen and everyone turns to me.
"Good morning, Nerd." Alec says. I raise my hand to about the same level as my head and move it to the right slightly.
"Morning." I mumble walking to the fridge. I grab a water bottle and a yogurt out of it before grabbing a spoon and sitting down at the bar between Amanda and Alec. No, I didn't want to sit by him but I wanted to sit next to Amanda.
"So, how'd you sleep?" Alec asks me.
"Wonderful." I say sarcastically.
"Always so sarcastic." Alec says. "I'm bored."
"Ooh! I have an idea! You could leave." I say.
"ZOLA!" Bexley and Amanda scream.
"Bexley, you weren't any nicer to anyone when you were in high school." I say.
"Touché." She points at me.
"What does that mean?" Alec asks. "I'm not very smart in the brain." He puts a finger on his head and moves his head around while laughing.
"You're weird. And it means good point." I say, biting back a smile.
"Why can't you just say good point?" Alec asks.
"Because saying touché makes you sound smart." Skye butts in. Amanda nods in agreement.
"Well, as much I would love to stay and talk, I'm going to go get ready for school." I say and get off my stool.
"But you look so beautiful already!" Alec says, holding out his arms. I glare at him and so does Jax.
"That's my sister! Nothing about her is beautiful." Jax points a warning finger at him.
"Wow! Way to boost my self esteem, Jax." I mumble walking out of the kitchen.
"I wuv you, Zo!!!" Jax yells after me. I wave my hand slightly in a 'whatever' kind of motion. That made no sense but I don't care.
