•Alec's POV•
I can't believe it. I hurt her. She's in the hospital. Because of me. It's all my fault.
We just got to the hospital. I rode in the back of the ambulance with Zola. The doctor said that she was having a hard time breathing. I was ok. I had a black eye and I was sore but nothing big.
They took Zola to a room while I called Jax. I used Zola's phone because I didn't have Jax's phone number.
"Hello." Jax picks up the phone.
"Hi, Jax. It's, uh, Alec. Um, Zola and I got into a crash. We're at the hospital." I say.
"Is she ok?" Jax asks frantically.
"I don't know. She's in a hospital room and they won't let me see her. Her side of the car got the most impact." I say.
"Ok. We'll be there as soon as we can. Thank you. Goodbye."
"You're welcome. Goodbye." I hang up. I go and sit in a chair in the waiting room.

A few minutes later the doctor comes out and tells me I can come see her. I walk into the room and my heart stops. She's laying on the bed, machines surrounding her. She has an IV in. Her leg is raised up. She's still in her jeans and sweatshirt.
Good. I'm sure she wouldn't want to part with her sweatshirt. I don't know why but she seems to love that thing. As well as that necklace she always wears.
"Hi." A raspy voice says. She's awake.
"I'm so sorry." I say walking towards her. She giggles.
"It's not your fault, Alec." She promised me.
Oh but it is.
"Have you called Jax?" She asks.
"Yes. He's on his way." She nods. We sit in a comfortable silence for a minute before the door opens and her whole family comes rushing in.
"Oh my gosh." Jax comes in first. "Are you ok?" He hugs her.
"Jax, I'm fine." She comforts him.
"Good. I already lost mom, I can't lose you too." Jax says.
Lost mom?
"I know." Zola mumbles obviously sensitive to the subject of her mother.
"You." On of Zola's family members, Alex, says pointing at me. "This is your fault! You put her in the hospital!"
