You have got to be kidding me!
"Well, we'll leave you two alone." Amanda grabs Skye's hand and they leave.
"How long have you been standing here?" I ask Alec, breaking the awkward silence between us.
"Long enough to know that there's something you're not telling me, you appreciate our friendship, you were in denial of said appreciation." He stops.
Good. He didn't hear that I like him.
"Oh and that you like me." He smirks.
AWW COME ON!
"Oh." I look down at my feet.
"Nerd." He says, lifting my chin so I'm looking at him. "If it makes you feel any better, I like you too. You're, you're nice and smart. You're really pretty, funny and I really really really like you."
"Really?" I ask, my voice cracking.
"Well I used three reallys so I'd say so." He nods. So, I attack him with a hug. He laughs and hugs me back.
"So, I know if we do date and it doesn't work out, then it'll kinda ruin our relationship." He stops. He's going to say he thinks we should stay friends. "But, I really like you and, I want to give it a try. Give us a try."
HALLELUJAH!
I agree.
I'm glad we could finally get along.
It won't last.
Probably not.
Let's savor the moment.
"If that's ok with you." He finished. I nod.
"Sure."
"Sooo, will you go out with me?" He asks. I'm gonna mess with him.
"No." I say. His face falls, his shoulders slump and I can see his eyes fill with tears.
"W-what? But I-I thought, I thought you liked me?" He says, a tear falls down his cheek.
He's adorable.
I still agree.
"Alec. I'm kidding. I'll go out with you." I say. He smiles and wraps me in his arms.
