Anxiety [Muke af]

Four

"Michael!" Ashton whined.

It was Friday, or Michael and Ashton movie night!

"Ashton, we've already seen that movie at least a million times." Ashton threw his head back and groaned "But I love My Little Pony!"

"And you say you're punk rock," Michael mumbled, sitting down beside Ashton on the couch.

"Fine! Then lets watch.." he thought about it for a while "What about The Nightmare Before Christmas!" Ashton beamed and Michael sighed in annoyance but eventually agreed "Okay, okay fine.. only the the 5th time this month." he mumbled the last part.

Ashton started the film, and got comfortable, his head resting in Michael's lap. This was normal behavior for them, I mean come on they've been bestfriends since they were, like 3.

Michael couldn't concentrate during the film, he kept thinking about; Cold blue eyes, blonde hair and a beanie..

"Michael!" Ashton snapped his fingers infront of his face "Earth to Michael?" Michael shook his head "What?" Ashton rolled his eyes and paused the movie "What are you thinking about?" Ashton sang, smirking a little."Nothing," Michael said and pushed Ashton off him, standing up from the couch.

"Where are you going ? Don't leave me alone!"

"I'm just going to have a piss. Be right back.."

Ashton pouted, and laid down on the couch.

"Luke," Liz sighed and Luke looked up from his dinner, meeting his mum's stare "How's school? Met anyone? New friends?" she asked, Luke shook his head "No one likes me mum... " Luke said and took a small bite of his pasta.

"Oh Luke, of course people like you! Don't be silly."

Luke just nodded "Mmh... There is one, actually." Luke closed his eyes "His name is Michael.. He- he helped me with my panic attack at- at school," He said quietly and clenched his hands into a fist. He sometimes did that when he was nervous. 

Liz smiled, Luke finally had a friend, this was big! He was always too scared to make friends.

"Alright class! Today you have to pick a partner and make a presentation of whatever you like! But in your group you have to agree on what theme. You'll get a few classes to do it at school, so you have to work on it at home also!"

Michael sighed, glancing over at Luke.

They had English.

Should I ask him?  He thought, before agreeing with himself, that yes, yes he should ask Luke.

"Okay stand up and find a partner!" the class immediately stood up, but Luke stayed seated, biting his lip nervously.

"Uh, Hey..."

Luke looked up and saw those familiar green eyes "H-Hi.." he replied so quietly that Michael almost couldn't hear it. "Do you wanna be partners ?" Michael asked and Luke nodded slowly.

Michael took a chair and moved it closer to Luke's table, "So, what to you want the presentation to be about?", Michael asked.

Luke shrugged "I-I don't know..."

"Uhm.. Do you want to work on the presentation at my place?" Michael asked, when they were standing in the hallway "Or your place," he quickly added.

"Okay..." Luke nodded "C-Can it be my place?" the blonde nervously fiddled with his fingers and looked at the floor. Michael smiled "Sure.. Uhm meet me at the fountain after school?" Luke nodded again, and walked away.
