Idk 'bout you, but I've been crashing into Ashton's lane lately
Ashton was sad.
Michael hadn't spoken a word to him in almost 2 weeks.
He debated wether or not he should talk to Luke about it, but he didn't know where he stood with Luke. He didn't know if Luke was still upset with him or what?
He had a tight grib on his backpack as he made his way to Luke's locker, where he assumed he would be.
He was right.
Luke was quietly having a conversation with a girl with blonde hair. Ashton and Luke got eye contact, Ashton sent him a timid smile. Luke sensed that he wanted to ask about something and politely said bye to the girl.
"Erh, hi." Ashton waved awkwardly and tried to avoid Luke's eyes "Hi," Luke replied and pursed his lips. Ashton bit his lip "Can you help me?" Luke raised a brow and looked at Ashton, waiting for him to explain.
"Uhm, well, Michael hasn't spoken to me in almost 2 weeks..." he frowned, he missed his best friend. Luke's mouth fell wide open.
Yeah, he was a bit upset at Ashton at first, but then he explained, he forgave him.
"Really?"
Ashton nodded, looking down at his feet "Could you- Could you maybe talk to him? I have tried talking to him, but he ignored me, and I don't know why... or I kinda do, but when we talked after, it sounded like he wasn't that upset anymore..."
Luke hummed. Seeing how upset Ashton was, made his heart break "I'll talk to him, don't worry." Ashton let out a breath of relief "Thank you," he sighed. Luke smiled with a shrug "No problem."
Ashton quietly said goodbye and Luke watched the curly haired boy walk down the hallway. He looked quite cute that day, Luke thought. He had a tank top on and pajama- like pants, paired with a beanie, a strand of hair in his face.
"I could never pull that off," Luke whispered to himself and got some stuff out of his locker. He then made his way to his next class, which was his favourite class ever. Art.
He plugged in his earphones, and played a bit with his lip ring. He arrived at the class room and walked in "Hi, Luke," mrs Schmidt greeted and flashed him a smile. She was his favourite teacher, because she let him sit in the back of the class and just draw. She had to decide what to he had to draw. Luke didn't mind, though. She knew about his anxiety.
"Hi," he said with a timid smile, taking out his earbuds. "Do you think you'll finish your drawing today?" Luke shrugged his shoulders. She had given him the theme flowers. So, he decided to do a drawing of a girl, sitting in a field with a flower crown on. It was beautiful, even though it wasn't finished yet.
"Erh, I don't know... I need to finish the hair and the field." he glanced to the door, as students started to flood in. Mrs Schmidt pursed her lips. "Okay. Take your time." She sent him one last smile before making her way to her desk.
Luke glanced around at the students, feeling like they were all staring at him. He quickly found his usual table in the back and settled down. He listened to the teacher talk about something the other students had to do. She then walked down to Luke, giving him his drawing.
The blonde thanked her quietly and looked at the drawing, he sighed and started to work on the hair, bopping his head a bit to the music he was listening to.
