Probably the longest chapter so far... so yeah. Buckle up lol

The day before Michael's birthday came around and Ashton was nervously pacing back and forth in Luke's room. Luke looked at the boy with an amused smile, but he knew Ashton was nervous about Michael's surprise, Luke himself was nervous as well.

"So, you'll just text him and ask if he wanna go for a walk, okay?" Ashton said and chewed on his bottom lip. Luke nodded, hesitating before standing up wrapping his arms around the shorter boy, who froze, but quickly relaxed and hugged back. "Thank you," he sighed and pulled away. Luke shrugged with a small smile "I-It's gonna be fine, yeah?"

Ashton nodded, taking a deep breath "Can you text him now?" Luke nodded and whipped out his phone, sending Michael a quick text asking if he could quickly come over. It wasn't long before he got a reply. Michael (Of course) said yes and that he would be there in 5.

Ashton's eyes widened as Luke told him he'd be there in 5 minutes. "Okay. I better go then. I'll text you when I'm finished."

Luke followed the boy downstairs and gave him an encouraging smile and timidly waved as Ashton walked down his driveway. The blonde left to go inside again and sat down on his couch, waiting for Michael to come.

He tugged on his lip ring, feeling his heart hammer in his chest. He kept thinking about his surprise for Michael. All Michael knew was that he was going to be with Luke.

He scratched at his cuts. He knew he shouldn't, but he let his thoughts consume him, all the things that could go wrong. What if he embarrassed himself? What if Michael didn't like the song and thought he sounded horrible? So many things could go wrong and Luke was convinced they were going to do that. Luckily, before he could think about it more, there was a knock on the door and Luke rose to his feet and quickly made his way to the door.

"Hi, angel! Did something happen since I had to come over so quick-" he was cut off by a soft pair of lips on his own. Michael hummed, gently grabbing Luke by his hips. Luke pulled away and licked his lips "What was that for?" Michael asked with a grin, Luke only shrugged and took his shoes on "Just missed you," he said quietly and smiled softly. Michael grinned and looked down at his feet "We're--we're going on a walk," Luke then said, holding his hand out for Michael to take, which he gladly did, lacing their fingers together.

"So, what are we gonna do tomorrow?"

Luke's cheeks tinted pink and he shook his head. "Secret." Michael pouted, tugging a bit on Luke's arm "Just give me a hint? Pleaseee, Lukey?"

Luke simply shook his head again "No, Mikey. You have to wait," he said shyly, rolling his eyes with a smile at how eager Michael seemed. It was cute, though.

They soon reached the park and Luke smirked a bit, before tugging Michael behind some trees. Ashton had texted him and said it might take a while, since the banner kept falling down. So, he had to keep Michael entertained while waiting and Luke didn't feel like walking much. "What are you doing, kitten?" Luke smiled shyly at the nickname "Kitten?" Michael flushed red and stuttered out, "I mean- I don't... It's cute." he pouted, making Luke giggle and kissed his boyfriends pouty lips.

Michael thought Luke was acting a little strange. He usually didn't act like that. It was like the roles were switched. Now Luke was the more dominant one and Michael was more submissive.

It didn't last long, though.

Michael gently pushed Luke against a tree and slipped his tongue into his mouth, making Luke gasp a little. They made out for a while, before Michael pulled away, pecking Luke's lips repeatedly "I love you, kitten," he whispered, pressing a final, lingering kiss to the blondes lips.
