So... this was on dead time... to the new Sunday chapter release... and then my laptop decided to change all the punctuation to 'a@@^$'... which was fun!!! T-T
Im Yong Soo felt proud of himself. He'd been counting in his head how many people he'd found, told to get out, and had seen on their way since he'd split from Kyung Soo and Leon, and at the present, the number was getting close to ten. In the grand scheme of people, five didn't seem like all that many, but in the presence of how many people they'd come in with, it was a good number to be going off. So far, he'd sent Arthur and Vladimir on their way, both red in the face, Arthur clutching the body of Peter, who he'd classed as the third, although Yong Soo wasn't sure if he was alive and Ludwig and Gilbert had been sent away. He'd only had to run from one counterpart, who he was pretty sure had something to do with Feliciano or Lovino, and had hid from Kuro, but apart from that, hadn't had any run ins.
"You're doing good" he told himself. "Very good Yong Soo, very good."
"Very good." A hand clamped down on his shoulder and he shrieked, whirling around to face them, arms flying out as he did so and slapping them across the cheek. "Thanks."
Yong Soo stared for a second before laughing weakly. "Not my fault. You snuck up on me."
Kyung Soo glared at him, one hand clasped to his face, and straightened his posture a little. "How many do you know are out?"
"Five" Yong Soo said proudly. "I got five of them out."
"See any dead?" Kyung Soo asked.
Yong Soo frowned. "No. Should I have?"
"You must have picked the right corridors then" Kyung Soo grumbled. "Batukhan's dead."
"Dead?" Yong Soo stared. "But... he..."
"So's Alfred" Kyung Soo continued as though he'd never spoken. "And Feliks, and Toris, and Raivis, and Feliciano, and Elizaveta, and Milen, and Heracles."
"Anyone else I should know about now?" Yong Soo asked.
"No, that's just about it" Kyung Soo shrugged. "Trust you to avoid everyone."
"What's that supposed to mean?" Yong Soo snapped.
Kyung Soo shrugged again. "Vash is."
"And?" Yong Soo flapped his arms a little.
"I'm just saying" Kyung Soo said through gritted teeth. "You know, a bit of positivity. You're supposed to be all about the positive stuff, aren't you?"
"Positive after that bomb shell doesn't really work North" Yong Soo growled, folding his arms. "What do you expect me to do now?"
Kyung Soo pulled a face of disgust. "How should I know what you should do know? It's your own free will. You do what you want. Why are we even having this conversation?"
"You started it" Yong Soo jabbed a finger at him.
"I did not" Kyung Soo cried, offended. "I just informed you on the happenings of our fellow nations, as I thought you might want to know. It's you who's reacted badly to it like you have done."
"Throwing the blame at me now?" Yong Soo shouted.
"Look," Kyung Soo took a deep breath and glared at him. "You just need to calm down. You're overreacting, and that's making everything worse."
"See, blame" Yong Soo snapped.
Kyung Soo gritted his teeth. "You know, by shouting and making a fuss, you're not helping anything. You're just wasting time, and we have to get out of here too, you know?"
