'You wanted to talk about Christmas? I never had a decent Christmas with family, so I really want to do something this year'. Emma tried to look at Killian to find out his opinion. Killian only focuses on his plate. 'Hook?' Killian looked confused. 'Sorry, love. I don't like Christmas that much'. Emma looked disappointed. 'But this year it will be different' he adds quickly.
Snow laughed. 'It will definitely be different. Our Christmas parties are the most famous of the Enchanted Forest. It's our thing'. Killian smiles. The last time he celebrated Christmas was when he was a little boy. He celebrated with his brother Liam and his father, just after his mom passed away. They didn't celebrate Christmas the last four years, because of the threats. This year would be different. Killian looks up to Emma. His Emma. She seems so happy and he would do anything to keep it that way. No matter what.
Snow and David stood up to clean the table. 'Are you sure you're okay Killian?' Emma asked a bit worried. 'Aye, love. It's just the whole family-thing. It reminds me of my own family and...' He swallows. 'It's alright Killian. I can't imagine how hurt that must be for you, but you're not that man anymore'. She kissed him on the cheek. 'You're changed and I love you, no matter what you did. Remember?' Killian nodded and smiled. 'Let's make it a damn good Christmas then, love!'
They kissed each other, but didn't see the shadow staring at them.
A few seconds later Henry stumbled in with the storybook under his arm. 'Mom! Mom!' he panicked. Emma looked upset. 'Henry! What's wrong?'. 'The book... The stories... I saw...'. Snow and David entered the kitchen. 'Whoa, what happened?' David asked Hook. He shrugged his shoulders. 'We don't know yet'.
'Henry, I need you to calm down! I really don't understand you right now!' Emma panicked. 'What did you see, lad?' Killian asked calm. Henry took a deep breath. 'I saw someone. Someone we met when we were in the underworld. I grabbed the book and checked the stories, but I'm afraid something has changed'. He looked at Hook. 'Your happy ending... I'm afraid it's gone'.
