She got up out of bed and went to the table. Killian, who had a confused look on his face, followed her and sat down next to her. 'What do you mean you wasn't honest with me?' he asked. Milah sighed. 'I didn't tell you the truth about why I am back.' she started. 'You lied to me?' She saw the pain in his eyes.
Milah shook her head. 'No, I didn't lie to you. All the things I told you were the truth. It's just... I didn't tell you everything.' It confused him even more. 'The whole story about the Underworld are true. There really is something wrong between the Underworld and the so called heaven. I told you that it allows some people to go back to where they belong. I didn't tell you why'.
His face was stern. 'Tell me why then...'.
Milah stared down to her feet. 'I don't want to hurt your feelings Killian, but...'
'Just tell me, Milah!' he said annoyed.
She swallowed. 'Zeus is threatened by someone. He could stay alive if he sent people back with a mission.'
'What kind of mission? I don't understand... Which idiot threatened a god?'
'It's a bad situation, Killian. That idiot is a really powerful man. Well, that's what Zeus told us. He sent us here with the mission to break you and Emma apart.'
'Us? What do you mean us? And why Emma and me?' he still doesn't understand it.
'Neal and me... The person who threatened Zeus probably hates the two of you or at least one of you.'
The whole situation clicked in his head. 'Bloody hell... Neal doesn't love her, he is using her to get what he wants... what Zeus needs.'
Milah nodded. 'He isn't the man he used to be, Killian. Right now he is somebody that we used to know.'
'Neal and I have a difficult history together, but I don't understand... What's in it for Neal and you and why don't you stick to the plan?' he asked, still a bit confused.
'He can stay down here if he succeeds...' she started. 'And... I can't do this to you... My love for you is too big to hurt you like that.' she continued as she caressed his shoulder softly.
'Thanks for your honesty, Milah. I really appreciate that'. He smiled to her followed by an awkward silence. 'We should get some sleep. When we wake up you go back to Emma and talk with her. She deserves to know and she belongs with you.' She really meant it.
Killian nodded. 'I think you're right. We definitely need some sleep.' He stood up and walked over to his bed. 'Are you coming?' he asked as he turned around. 'Are you sure? After what happened earlier?' she asked confused. He smiled. 'Of course. What happened earlier was a mistake, but I really hope we can be friends.'

A few hours later Killian got up early. He ate some breakfast and dressed himself. Although it looked like he was very relaxed, he was really nervous about his meeting with Emma. She really hurt him last night, but he doesn't want her to end up with Neal. What they share is true love and he is ready to fight for it. It won't be the first time, but as the patient pirate as he is, he will overcome.
He fought tougher fights than this one with Neal and he hunted a crocodile for centuries. Funny enough the two are related to each other so it probably runs through the family. He looked at his right hand and smiled to his wedding ring. 'It's time to get my wife back!'
As he walked to their house he felt the unshakable feeling someone was following him. He turned around a few times but didn't spot someone. He continued his way and as he was about to rang the doorbell, something hit him hard on his head.
