After wandering around the bunker for a long time, they finally arrived in a part where they hadn't been before.

'I feel like we're getting closer,' Killian said.

'I believe you, son. I told you this would work!'

Killian nodded. 'Thanks, father. That you forgive me, but also that you help me.'

Brennan slapped on Killian's shoulder. 'We have a lot to catch up and I think this is a good start. You really have changed.'

Killian nodded. 'All it took was meeting the right person and I've changed. She choose to see the best in me.'

'How do you know she's worth the fighting?'

'I just know it. When you see the good in someone you don't give up on them. Especially if they don't see it themselves. And if you're ever lucky enough to find true love you fight for it every day.' Killian said with a smile on his face.

'Is it worth it? I mean... after everything you did for love.' Brennan asked.

'If you find someone you love enough to ruin your entire life for it's always worth it.'

'I'm glad to hear that you found the right woman Killian, but does she love you as much as you love her?'

Killian raised his eyebrow. 'Without a doubt. I doubted it before, but I can tell you that opening your heart to love is worth the risk. I risked it and look at us now.'

'Let's get her heart back then!' Brennan said while they entered the next room.

The room was completely dark and quiet. The only sound you could hear was the sound of breathing. The door closed behind them. Killian ran towards it, but it was locked.

'We're stuck!'

'Captain obvious' said a voice.

'Who is there?' Brennan said with shaky voice

There was laughter. Killian recognized the voice he heard. The voice he never wanted to forget and never would forget.

'Mother?' he asked.

The lights in the room went on. It was very bright and Killian and Brennan were blinded by it. A female figure approached them. 'Mother?' he repeated, trying to keep his eyes open. The lights were too bright.

She caressed his face. 'Killian. It's really you. You're so .... different.'

'Aye, maybe because you haven't seen me for 200 years.' Killian said sarcastically. 'You can stop your fake reaction, I know what you're doing.'

'Do you?' she asked.

'I'm not stupid! You have Emma's heart and we're here to get it back!'

Before she could answer, there was a harsh sound and Neal and Emma were in the same room.

'Bloody hell. I told you guys to stay outside!' Killian yelled. He saw the frightened look on Emma's face and he felt something was terribly wrong.

He wanted to walk towards her, but something inside him stopped him. He looked at Emma and saw that she was causing it. 'What are you doing, Swan?' Killian asked offended.

Tears welled up in her eyes. 'I can't do anything about it. He's... he's controlling me'

Neal laughed out hard. 'I'm sorry guys, I tricked you. Actually... I'm not sorry at all. As you can see your mother is back but she was just a chess piece. Just like my mother, just like Brennan. Everything was planned by me. I think you understand by now that I've got her heart, captain?'

'What do you want from her?' Killian yelled.

'You still don't get it, do you? I thought you were smarter. I don't want anything from her, I want her back in my life and be the family we used to be. The family Henry deserves.'

Killian grinned. 'And how do you want to do that? It's one person against three and besides that... Emma doesn't want you'

'You forgot one tiny detail, captain. I've got her heart. One mistake and I'll crush it right in front of you, just like my father did to you!'

'Tell me what you want.' Killian said weak.

'Give me your heart and she'll get hers back.'

Killian swallowed and took a step towards him. 'Alright then. Take my heart.'

'Killian, no!' Emma screeched while tears raced down her cheeks.

Neal walked towards Killian. He grinned as he ripped his heart out of his chest. Neal placed Emma's heart back and pushed her upon the floor. 'If you dare to use your magic on me, your husband will become fish food!' he threatened.

'What do you want from me? You're going to command to kill myself or something?' Killian asked.

'That would be an awesome plan, but no. I've got some other things in mind for you, puppet'

'What then?'

Neal laughed. 'I can stay here if one of us get killed. I would like you to suffer so I made up a plan. The old captain would probably like it.'

'Surprise me' Killian said sarcasticly.

'I want you to kill her' he commanded as he pointed towards Killian's mother.

Killian's jaw dropped. 'No... you can't do that to me...' he stuttered.

'Neal, please don't do this!' Emma yelled.

'I can do whatever I want. Now take this sword and do the thing you're good at... killing.' Neal said as he handed the sword to Killian.

Tears raced down his cheeks and dripped on the floor. Emma never saw him like this before. He was fighting against himself right now and she couldn't bear it.

'Do it otherwise I'll let you kill your wife!' he commanded

Killian slowly walked towards his mother against his will. 'I'm so sorry... I can't...' he stuttered.

She reached for his hand. 'Promise me you'll forgive yourself. It's not your fault and I don't blame you.'

Killian nodded. 'I love you' he said as he stabbed his sword through her body.
