The days after the death of Killian's mother were difficult. After all these years he faced his parents again. His mother had left him, but he never could have asked her why. His father, whom he had killed himself, had fooled him. The family he once broke had collapsed again within a short time.

Killian went through a hard time after stabbing his mother with his sword. Although he was under Neal's pressure, he was torn by guilt. And Neal... Neal is in prison. Shortly after the incident, David rushed in with Regina and arrested him. Unfortunately, it was too late for Killian's mother.

'Are you alright?' Emma asked him with concern written all over her face. She was genuinly worried about him. He hadn't eat or sleep for days. 'Killian?'

'I'm fine. Let's go home' he replied and began to leave. Emma pulled him back by grabbing his arm.

'You're not. You're always telling me that I'm an open book to you, but now you are. I know you're full of guilt and I totally understand that, but please... talk to me.' Emma said desperately.

He nodded in agreement. 'You're right, love.'

He lifted his head up to the sky to prevent the tears from falling. Emma caressed his cheeks. 'You're allowed to cry, Killian. Don't hide it for me.' she said as a tear raced over his cheek. Emma whiped it away with her thumb and smiled.

He grabbed her hand and caressed her palm with his thumb. 'We've been through a lot lately, but I wanted to thank you for everything' he said.

'Why are you thanking me? I almost ruined everything'

'Well, you played with fire indeed but I'm just glad you came back to me. A lot happened lately and it's a bitter pill, but I still have you.'

'You'll always have me.' She pressed a kiss on his lips. 'Can you forgive yourself?' she asked as she let go of him.

He stared at her grave and smiled. 'Aye, that's what she wanted me to do. It's going to be difficult, but I have to do it... for her.'

Emma hugged him. 'Let's go home' she whispered.

Killian and Emma left the cemetery. They didn't notice that they were being chased by a young lady. As they walked past the shops in Storybrooke, Killian saw her in the reflection of the shop windows.

'Swan, who is that girl?'

'What girl?'

He nodded at the girl. She was on the other side of the street and was looking into a store.

'I don't know, why?'

'I've never seen her before and she was following us.'

'I guess she has never seen a handsome pirate. Let her be. Shall we go to Granny's?'

Killian nodded in agreement but was still suspicious about the girl. After a five minute walk they arrived at Granny's. They ordered a coffee and their favorite food. On the other side of the restaurant was the girl he had just seen outside.

'There she is again.' he whispered to Emma.

'You're not going to tell me you want to trade me for her, do you?' Emma asked skeptically.

Killian shook his head. 'Of course not, but isn't it strange?'

Emma shrugged her shoulders. Just when she wanted to say something, the girl stood up and walked to their table.

'Papa?...'
