Chapter 32 ✰ Operation Heart Saving

'Bloody hell... you did what?!' Killian yelled as he walked towards Neal and threatened to hit him. Emma tried to stop him but failed.

'Do you know where she is?' Killian asked angrily.

'Not exactly, but I think your father knows something.' Neal said as he tried to get out of Killian's grip.

He turned himself towards his father. 'Do you know something?'

Brennan nodded. 'When I got back from the... afterlife she came for me. She told me about her plan to destroy happy endings and especially yours' he said as he pointed to Killian.

'Why especially mine?'

'Because your alive for... over 200 years now. You had the chance to live your life to the fullest. She thought it unfair that she never had that chance.' Brennan explained.

Killian chuckled. 'Yeah my life was quite perfect with al the people I've lost.'

'I know that Killian, but she doesn't know anything about you.'

Neal coughed. 'Are the ladies done talking? There is a heart to save.'

'Yeah, because YOU lost it' Killian sneered back.

'Guys, seriously... You're acting like childs right now. If Brennan knows where we can find her then we should go there.' Emma said.

Brennan nodded. 'I guess I know where we can find here.'

'Let's go then!' Killian yelled.

They drove for a few miles in Emma's yellow bug. After a while Brennan said that they were almost there and that they had to continue by foot because the yellow bug would get to much attention. Although she lived here for a couple of years now, Emma didn't recognize this place.

Killian pulled her towards him. He smiled as he tucked her hair behind her ear. 'We'll get your heart back, Swan. Even if it's the last thing I do.'

Emma caressed his face and pressed a kiss on his lips. 'I love you' she whispered.

'Lovebirds! If you guys are ready then we would like to go now.' Neal said annoyed.

Killian rolled his eyes and grabbed Emma's hand as they were walking towards Neal and Brennan.

'We have to go. Operation Heart Saving it is.' Emma said.

Killian raised his eyebrow. 'Operation Heart Saving?'

'Henry would have called it that way'

Killian laughed as he wrapped his arm around Emma and they started their hike. It took them about 15 minutes to get to a huge bunker.

'This is the place where she kept us, isn't it?' Killian asked.

'Aye, but this is the other side. This side is unguarded so it will make our entrance a lot easier.' Brennan explained to him.

Killian nodded. 'I suggest that we'll go inside. Emma and Neal are going to wait here.'

'I'm not going to wait. I'm coming with you!' she yelled.

'Emma, I know you want to but you can't. She has your heart and we don't know what she's going to do with it.'

'But... the only one who saves me is me.' she said disappointed.

Killian caressed her cheek. 'Let me save you this time, Swan. I won't let you down.'

'I know, but...' she started.

'No buts, remember?'

Emma smiled. 'Only if you promise me one thing.'

'Sure, love. Tell me.'

'Please promise that you'll come back to me'
