Chapter 23 ✰ ... Until The End

a few days later

Killian had no idea how much time had passed but it felt like ages. He just laid there in a dark room on a dirty mattress. The room was too dark to notice if it was day or night. He slept a lot because of his unbearable headache. He tried to sit down again but every bone and muscle in his body hurted like hell.

He sighed and took a sip of his water. The bottle was almost empty. He was sipping from this bottle for days. Well that's what he was thinking because of the bad taste. It was the only thing the kidnapper gave him and he hadn't seen him in a while. Maybe this was his way to get rid of him. Starve him to death.

Killian grinned. 'You need more to take me down. I survived bean stalks, evil queens, black fairies and demons. Do you think a few days without food are going to kill me?' he yelled. He grabbed his head and started screaming. 'I'm getting crazy...' he whispered.

He sat on the floor for hours. His head was about to explode. The only occupation he had was thinking and that was with this heavy headache not the best thing to do right now.

A few moments later he heard footsteps on the other side of the door. He felt a sparkle of hope. The door flew open and he was blinded by the light. His kidnapper threw someone inside the room and closed the door again.

In the middle of the room was a body. Killian couldn't tell if the person was alive or not, but when he came closer he realized it was a girl. Her hair was messy and she was covered with blood. Just looking at her he could tell how much pain she had. He heard her raspy breaths.

'Are you okay?' he asked but then realized it was the most stupid question ever. How the hell can she be okay right now? When she didn't answer he tried to get up, which was a mission impossible. He crawled his way towards her and tried to stroke her hair out of her face.

He recognized her and Killian's eyes widened. 'Emma?!' he yelled.

'Killian! You're still alive!' she cried. 'I'm so so sorry... I didn't want to lose you, I was stupid and.. and...' she started stuttering. He caressed her face. 'I'm a survivor, Swan. And to be honest.... You were stupid indeed. How could you do that?' he said meaner than he intended.

She swallowed. 'I.. I don't know. When Neal came back I just thought that I had feelings for him, but when you left I realized I couldn't live without you. I never intended to hurt you...'

'I'm glad you missed me.' He smiled. The smile she'd missed for such a long time. She tried to push herself up but collapsed.

'Ho, just take it easy, Swan. You're bleeding. Let me look at you.' he said worried. He ripped a piece of his shirt to use it as a bandage. He wrapped the bandage around the wound and tied it with his teeth.

'Just like our first adventure' she said while looking up at him. 'I hope you take me with you this time, Swan'. She carassed his bruised face. 'I'll never let you down again.' 

He grabbed her face and kissed her. Emma immediately kissed him back. She kissed him in a way that would leave no doubt about the way she felt about him. She deepened the kiss and sat down on his lap. Her long blonde hair swept over his face.

She tried to move over his hardness to excite him even more. He moaned but not in a good way. 'Did I hurt you?' she asked worried. 'No.. No.. it's just my headache and the pain in my body. It's killing me for days now'.

'I guess this have to wait until we're out of here than.' Emma ran her hand down his hair and pressed a kiss on his forehead. He seemed a bit disappointed. 'I don't want to wait, I want to...' He moaned again.

'You really are in pain, aren't you?' she asked even more worried. He nodded and rested his head on her chest. 'Try to get some sleep, I'll be here when you wake up.'

He smiled. 'I love you, Swan'.

'I love you too, Killian... until the end' she said while he slowly fell asleep in her arms.
