Me and my friends walk into the auditorium late and everyone looks our way

I scan around the room and I see my mom who is the principal standing at the front

"Carry on" Amir yells and she sighs

We stand towards the front and she starts explaining about the new school

"Okay I'm going to start pairing the freshman and seniors together" she says and Cory makes a weird noise

I turn to him confused
"Big wheels keep on turning" he yells and we laugh

"Proud Mary keep on burning" Brandon who is across the room yells

"Rolling, Rolling. Rolling on the river" all of us seniors yell

"Okay next one to cut me off is going to get detention" my mom says and we all go quiet
She starts with the partners and I wait for my name
"Peyton Meyer and Sabrina Carpenter" she says and the freshman laugh

My mom motions for me to go by her and I do
"I need you to be there for Sabrina more. The freshman all bully her and we think she's getting abused" she whispers and I nod

"Where is she" I ask looking at the freshman

"The blonde one she's wearing a blue tank top and jeans with a white jacket" she tells me
I look around as I walk and I find her

"Hi I'm Peyton" I say and she looks at me
"Sabrina right" I ask and she nods

"Yeah" she says quietly and I smile

"So what classes have you got" I ask Sabrina and she shrugs handing me the paper
"That's strange, we got all the same classes" I say confused

"Oh" she says and I give it back

The bell goes and Cory runs over
"Dude I got moved back up to senior" he yells and I laugh

"Good for you. But I think I've moved down to freshman me and Sabrina got all same classes" I tell him and he looks at her

"Actually Peyton Sabrina's graduating with you this year" my mom says with a small smile

"Ohh" I say and look at Sabrina
"Well will you sit by me" I ask and she nods

"Off you go" my mom says and we start walking to class

"So Sabrina do you have any friends" Amir asks her and she nods
"Who" he asks and we reach our class

"She'll tell you later" I say and he nods

I walk in and sit down
I pat the seat next to me for her and she goes to sit next to me but Josh does

"Josh move" I tell him and he looks at me

"What why man" he asks and I look seeing Sabrina sitting at a empty desk

"Because someone's already sat there" I tell him and he smiles

"Yeah me" he says and I point to another seat

He sighs sitting at the back
I take paper and put it in a ball and I throw it at Sabrina

She turns to me. I motion for her to come sit

She nods taking her stuff and sits next to me

"Okay class, we have a pop quiz to do" Mr Daniele tells us as he hands them out

"That's bullshit we've literally been here for ten minutes" Mason yells

Mr Daniele doesn't reply and he hands me mine then Sabrina hers
He looks at her
"Aren't Sarah and Shannon your sisters" he asks and she nods

He walks away
"You May begin" he tells us and I look at the first question

"We never learnt this"I tell him and he sighs

"Just do the work" he says and I hear a page turn

I look at Sabrina and she's on the next page
"How the hell" I whisper and she looks at me

"Meyer are you copying" Mr Daniele asks and I shake my head

I start the work by writing random things
"Okay times up" he says and we all groan

"I only got to number five" Hannah says and he sighs

"Has anyone finished" he asks and I look at Sabrina's work seeing she has

"Sabrina has" I say and he looks at her along with all of the class

He takes her work and starts to check it
"All correct" he says handing it to her "how have you covered these" he asks

"My Grandpa used to tutor me. He taught me nearly all of the topics" she tells him quietly and he nods

"Okay well I want every single one of you except for Sabrina to take the quiz home and study the topics and I expect you to have them all correct" he tells us and everyone starts to yell about it

I see Sarah and Shannon walk in and sit down
"Why are you in here" Shannon asks Sabrina and she looks at her

"I got moved up. I'm graduating with you" Sabrina tells them quieter than I've heard her speak

"Why do you always have to ruin everything? Honestly first it was Cali now our class" Shannon yells and Sabrina flinches

"Why are you yelling at her she hasn't done anything" I ask Shannon

"Hasn't done anything? She's ruined our relationship with our mom because she apparently nearly got raped. But we all know you paid the man so you could get attention because we were going California with mom" Shannon yells and Sabrina looks at her

"No wonder why Dad fucking hates you. You're nothing but a disappointment" Sarah tells her and Sabrina runs out of the class

"What the hell is wrong with you. Why would she pay someone to fucking rape her" I ask and she rolls her eyes

I get up and walk out. I look around for Sabrina and I see her at her locker crying

I run over to her and hug her
"I didn't do it" she whispers and I rub her back

"I know. I believe you" I tell her and she cries into my chest

"Why aren't you in class" I hear my mom ask and I look at her
"What happened" she asks rubbing Sabrina's back

"Her sisters were yelling things at her and said she paid a man to rape her" I tell her and she gasps

"Come on, you can stay in my office" she says and Sabrina pulls away from me

I look at how broken she looks and my mom starts to lead her to her office
