Beth (Sabrina's mom)-

Sabrina and I go to a restaurant and I can see that she's upset.
Her father is always singling her out, always missing things that mean everything to her and he's slowly crushing her.
Soon she won't be the person she is and that kills me.

"What are you getting" I ask and she shrugs looking down
"Sabrina, look I know you're upset, but trust me he's not going to get away with treating you like that" I tell her and she looks up with teary eyes

"But you're always arguing with dad and it's my fault" she replies and I sit next to her hugging her

"Who told you that" I ask and she sniffles "you can tell me" I add and she cries into my chest

"Shannon and Sarah, they said that I'm destroying yours and dads relationship" she tells me and I lift her head up

"You're not destroying our relationship" I tell her and I wipe her eyes
"Let's just enjoy ourselves okay" I ask she nods and I sit back opposite her

Soon we order our food
"Do you think Dad will come tomorrow" she asks and I look at her

"Im sure he will" I tell her and she smiles slightly

I notice a small cut on her wrist
"Brina how did you cut your wrist" I ask hoping she's not self harming.

"What?" She asks confused and I point to the cut she looks at it

"Oh um... you know that bracelet I had it started to scratch my wrist and when I was taking it off I accidentally cut myself" she replies I nod and she covers it with her jacket

"Your food" the waiter says placing it in front of us

"So how was school" I ask and she shrugs

"Okay I guess, nothing really happened" she replies and I see a small smile creeping on her face

"I see your smile" I say and she looks at me

"My dance team came in and we started rehearsing, turns out we're getting a new dance teacher" she replies checking her phone

She hands it to me

She's leaving!! Hallelujah meet tomorrow 5 o'clock sharp we need to meet our NEW dance teacher!! the god has blessed us all

I chuckle and hand it back to her

"Where do you want to go now" I ask once we leave the restaurant

"Home?" She asks an I shake my head

"Awe come on don't be boring" I tell her and we start walking around

"Can we go in the Christmas shop" she asks I nod and we go inside

"How about you get some gifts for your friends" I ask and she nods

I look around and take a snow globe
"You can add your own message and it will appear once you shake it" the owner Keith tells me

"Does it already have one" I ask and he nods

I shake it and merry Christmas shows up
"How are things with you and David" he asks and I sigh

"Bad. We literally have nothing anymore, we're both only with each other because of the kids" I tell him and he looks around

"You just need to reconnect" he tells me and Sabrina comes back with two items

A candle and something inside a box
"Is this your daughter" Keith asks and I nod
