Peyton-

I get stuck in traffic. As soon as I get the chance I park the car and I start to run.

I need to get there as soon as possible, I'm only thirty minutes away.

I feel my legs start to ache but I keep pushing myself to go, I see the hospital and I run faster.

I run inside and I look around not seeing Beth. I check the time on my phone seeing I've been stuck in traffic for five hours.

Shit. I go to the desk and she looks concerned.
"I'm here for Sabrina Carpenter" I tell her out of breath

"Sir would you like some water" she asks and I shake my head

"What room is she in" I ask and she checks

"Are you family" she asks and I nod without thinking

"I'm her brother please let me see her" I say and she nods

"Floor five, room 508, you need to make sure you wash your hands and wear one of these before entering" she says handing me a blue thing

I go into the bathroom washing my hands and putting the blue hospital thing on.
I run to the elevator pressing number five.

Once I'm on the floor I start running looking for her room.
I finally find the room and I run inside.

Beth is sitting there with her head down and Sabrina is in the hospital bed connected to about ten different machines and needles in her arms.

Beth looks up and gasps
"You came" she asks and I nod

"Of course I did. I've been trying to get a hold of Sabrina and apologise since the day I left but she wouldn't answer" I tell her

"Nothing came through" she replies and I look at Sabrina

"I did this. She was begging for me to stay and hear her out. But I wouldn't I was so angry at myself for believing that she liked me that I didn't know what else to do than to leave and get advice I was supposed to come back the next day but my return ticket wasn't until three weeks later" I explain tears rolling down my cheeks

"It wasn't all your fault. You know her ex he took photos of her body when they were together and he leaked them in a restaurant full of people even some celebrities were there. David started screaming things at her he disowned her and he kept calling her a whore and a slut, no matter how many times she was saying she didn't send them he wouldn't listen. He threw a beer can at her and if you saw her face and how frightened she looked you wouldn't want that to ever happen again. The girls managed to get her calm. We went to sleep and when I woke up I found her so close to dead with empty pill packets beside her" she explains crying and Sabrina hand moves

"How could he do that to her I know what I done was horrible but she's his daughter and he made her feel so bad about something that wasn't her fault" I tell her and Sabrina's eyes start to open.

Her breathing hardens slightly like she's struggling to breathe.

Beth takes a remote and presses a button and her breathes quietens.
Her eyes scan around the room and they land on me.

She starts to mumble things.
"Honey what's wrong" Beth asks

"I can't wake up" she yells and tears rolls down her cheeks
"He's not here is he" she asks and Beth takes Sabrina's hand

"Peyton is right next to you, you are not dreaming it's real" Beth tells her and Sabrina looks at me

I hug her and she cries into my shoulder

"I'll go get you a drink" Beth says and leaves

"I am so sorry for leaving you, I shouldn't have left. I couldn't stand the thought of you not liking me and I was angry at myself not at you and those things I said I didn't mean them I could never mean them. You're beautiful, incredibly talented and you're the best thing that has ever happened to me. And I am so sorry for making you feel any different. I'm such an asshole, I made you feel like you wasn't worthy to me" I tell her and she looks at me with her glossy blue eyes

"I like you" she blurts out and I look at her shocked "I had to say it before I chickened out" she says and looks down "I'm sorry, I lied to you because I couldn't tell you I was scared to get rejected. I wanted us to stay friends because I was so scared of losing you and I didn't want anything to change but I messed everything up anyway" she tells me and I shake my head

"It's not your fault don't blame yourself. I'm glad you like me because I like you too" I say and kiss her forehead.

"Lay with me please" she asks and I kick off my shoes. She moves and I lay next to her.
I lift her chin up and kiss her lips. Just then Beth walks in.

We pull away and look at the door.
"You two made up pretty quick" she says and places a drink down.

"Yeah. Is it okay if we take a nap" Sabrina asks yawning.
Beth nods and Sabrina rests her head on my chest.
She shivers and I wrap my arm around her being careful to not pull any of the wires.

She cuddles into me and Beth takes a fluffy blanket from a bag and places it over us.

"Nana and Paps are coming later" Beth tells her and she nods

"Is dad" Sabrina asks and Beth shakes her head

"I don't think so but hey we'll be just fine without him" Beth tells her and Sabrina nods

"I'm not feeling too good, I'm gonna go to sleep" Sabrina tells her and her eyes start to flutter close.
