Shopping is cheaper than therapy...

"Are you kidding me?" I asked. Hudson laughed beside me. "Why, why, why, am I here?"
"We're just going to get you a dress Brooklyn." Hudson smiled beside me. It was Saturday.
I'm supposed to be home. Probably laying in bed, or on my couch, drinking coffee. Why did Hudson take me to Victor's? Victor's was a very big brand store located in Manhattan. Everything in this store never cost under a thousand dollars.
I'm not kidding.
Even the damn socks.
I only come here when I need to. If there's a banquet or dinner party I was forced to come to, I'd come buy a nice dress here, other than that, It wasn't my favorite place. Only A-listers come and shop here...I'm not surprised to find out Hudson came here all the time.
"I have dresses at home." I told him. "But, no. You didn't like them." I repeated, mockingly.
Hudson laughed again as we stared at the entrance of the store. "Who the hell cares, this is the only time I will be able to step foot in Victor's." Carmen's voice was heard behind us and I could hear Hudson sigh. I chuckled and turned next to him.
"Why is she here, again?" he asked me.
"Awe, sweetheart," I teased. "That's my best friend. Wherever I go, she follows." I told him. Carmen was dressed in her light jeans, with a plain longsleeve shirt, looking through the dresses through the windows of the store. She was feeling pretty important today.
"She's like a toddler." Hudson mumbled. Robbie chuckled as he leaned against the side of the car.
"I heard that." Carmen turned and glared at him.
"I don't care." Hudson replied simply. "Caren, is it, if you talk for the rest of the day, I will throw you and your stink attitude back in the car and ship you off to the Bronx. You wouldn't want that, would you?" As Carmen was about to fire back another comment, I beat her to it.
"Okay, the both of you. Stop it. Can we just have a nice peaceful day?" I asked.
Hudson rolled his eyes next to me. Soon, a young man, in tight clothes came through the front door of the store. He had black, neatly styled hair, and he had nice fair skin. There was a smile on his face and his gaze was locked on Hudson. "Mr. Vasquez, it's so nice to see you again." He had a clipboard in his hand and he smelled like apples.
Hudson nodded in greeting. "Leo, it's good to see you again. I'm attending a dinner party next week and so is my girlfriend. Brooklyn Miller." Leo, turned to me and his same smile remained on his face.
"Wonderful. I've heard so much about you, darling. It's great to see you." I just smiled in return. He seemed like he had a lot of energy.
Hudson began to speak again. "You know, Robert." Robbie nodded at Leo. "And, this is Brooklyn's friend-"
"Carmen." I interrupted before he said her name wrong.
"Wonderful." Leo repeated. "You guys follow me."
We all did. With Hudson and Leo in the front. Carmen And I behind them and Robbie followed the group with his guard-like stature.
The store was big, as it always has been. It was nice tan color with lights hanging from the ceiling in a modern fashion. Leo led us to where the dresses were. There were mannequins that modeled some on the dresses, yet there were still a massive amount.
