Chapter #2 ~War Games~

-Nico's PoV-

I got my sword ready for the war games that would soon be happening. i can't believe Leo actually saw me BLUSHING! I curse in italian as i hear the trumpet sound for the war games, Leo must think that... that i like him, i don't want to love anyone anymore because... i'm afraid... afraid that they'd soon leave me and my heart would be crushed into a million peices. 

"Nico come on! they're announcing the teams!!" I hear someone call, i just grunt and nod as i hear more of the campers footsteps running and i follow behind but just walking, 

"Campers crowd around!!" I hear Chiron say as he stamps his hoof on the ground and the campers go quiet to listen to him, I tiptoed slightly and looked around to find Leo.

"What are you doing?" I hear a voice say beside me, Leo.

"Uhm, my...crush" I say as i look at him, my CRUSH?! did i just F-ing say that?! "Oh" Said Leo and i felt bad. "You all would be devided into two teams. Ares, Hephaestus, Aphrodite, Demeter, for the Red team, I belt saddness stomp on my chest. i won't be with Leo... Damn it Nico stop thinking like that! i'm sure he doesn't even like you back! I looked at Leo who had a slight frown on his face "Hey, you ok?" I whisper, he jumps and i can't help but chuckle "Sorry just... thinking" Leo explains and his usual smiles goes back to his face.

"Second team: Apollo, Poseidon, Athena, Hades and everyone else" He says then bellows "WAR GAMES START IN 5 MINUTES!!", I looked at Leo "See you later Repair Boy" I say and i can't help but smile as i run to my team.

-Leo's PoV-

I watch Nico run towards his team and my breath catches in my throat, The way he smiled at me, he doesn't usually call me 'Repair Boy' I feel my heart flutter inside me, No! Bad Leo Bad! No liking Ghost Boy!! But i sigh "Love is hard" I grumble under my breath as i walk to my Team.

Surprsingly the Ares cabin got the Aphrodite cabin to also fight, my cabin was making our swords sharper and the Demeter cabin we're playing with the grass. "C'mon we've got to get ready" one of the Ares kids say as we head to the forest were the games we're going to be held. "we know THAT" I mutter rolling my eyes and i laugh slightly,

In the end i got place is the far right side. the left side of the enemy terriroty, i took a deep breath then the trumpet started. there were War cries as we surged forward, sword weilded and first person i meet.... was Nico di Angelo...

-Nico's PoV-

I stopped in front of Leo. Mid swing and we just stood there... staring at each other... the fight was more in the middle rather than where we were, "L-leo?" I stutter looking shocked, "Nico..." Leo says grinning wildly and there was that crazed look in his eyes that always made me want to kiss him in the spot. "Sorry Leo, i can't hurt my friends... you can take the first swing" I say lowering my swords and looking down "no Nico, i don't want to hurt you either... hiw about nobody swings? we just... talk and walk around" he suggested and i huge smile goes to my face, "Sure," I didn't want to smile but it's hard NOT to smile when you were around someone like Leo.

We went to the pond where people rarely go. "L-listen L-leo..." I stutter softly and he turns to look at me with a calm smile and i feel my heart flutter again. "I have something to tell you" We said at the same time. Leo chuckled "You go first" but i could see the nervousness and yearning in his eyes, i felt butterflies in my stomach and my hand was shaking slightly "No, no you go first" I say, "Together?" HE suggest and i nod "I' m gay and i think i like you" We say both at the same time.

It took a moment for that to sink in when we looked up at each other's eyes. "Y-y-you...What?" I said looking shocked "I like you ghost boy" He murmurs.
