Chapter #22

-Leo's PoV-

I sucked in a deep breath as i walked outside, I was now 24 and Nico was 23..... i think...it was time.

I walked towards Nico, my toolbelt containing a ring box...that's right.. a RING box. I took in a shaky breath as i saw Nico turn to me with a big smile, he's gotten more muscular. taller. and less paler. "Hey Leo!!" He grinned and he kissed my head, irritatable he was an inch taller then me. 

I took a deep breath and kissed his cheek, he chuckled and messed up my hair, my palms was sweaty and my breath shaky "H-hey N-nico?" I stuttered. "Yeah?" He says slowly, his expression worried.

"Ton-tonight..... c-can you meet me for dinner in my bunk? I've got something special to show you" I say with a wink. Nico puts a big grin on his face "sure!!", I smiled uneasily "Great!!" I smiled "See you tonight! i've gotta get ready" Then i ran away.

I walked in the shore, wistling a hearty tune "LEO!!!!" I heard a familiar squeel, i froze in my tracks. mouth agape, no,no,no,no  not her, not now, no, no please,please,please,please.

I turned around just as someone wrapped their arms around my neck. "C-c-calypso?" I stammered, she had a big grin and an excited twinkle in her eyes. "Hi Leo!!! i finally got off! Hera said something and zapped me here!!" She grinned, letting go of me and kissing my cheek.

NO.NO. I DON'T LOVE HER ANYMORE!!!!!

"Wh-what?" I stammered, mouth agape "I know right?! Great isn't it?" She winks "C-Calypso...L-listen, you're f-finally out b-but-" I stammered, reaching into my toolbelt and pulling out the golden ring.

She misunderstands.

"OH MY GOSH LEO!!!!!" She squeals, i widen my eyes and gape.

No! no that's not what i meant!!!!'''' 

-Nico's PoV-

I heard a high pitch girl squeal and i roll my eyes and ignore it then i heard another scream a little while later "OH MY GOSH LEO!!!" the high pitched squeal says and i froze in my tracks.

L-L-Leo?!

I followed the sound and ended up in the shore, i peeked behind a thick tree. I saw Leo standing, mouth agape, shocked. The girl had her hands covering her mouth with a big smile.

In Leo's hands carried....

A Ring.

"Wh-What" Leo stammers, he looks jeniually shocked that SHE said yes. i fealt my heart torn in two. How could he do this to me?!?!?! we were together for 6 6 years!!!! My eyes blurred with tears as the girl leaped towards Leo. kissing him full in the mouth.

So much anger boiled inside me. "HOW COULD YOU?!?!?!?" I screamed, angry and eyes filled with tears, knuckles clenched and the shadows grows and Leo and the girls heads snap and turn towards me. 

"N-NICO!!! IT'S NOT-" Leo yelps, shoving the ring into his toolbelt. I shook my head "It's perfectly it" I growled. turning around quickly and shadow traveling to my cabin. but not before i saw Percy behind one of the tree's.

Leo is so busted. and maybe i don't even care anymore.
