Chapter #24

-Nico's PoV-

I wasn't really sure what happened. just a mega huge aching in my chest and i felt like my lungs were on fire and i couldn't breath properly.

Luckily Piper was there to yell for help and Jason was the first one that got to my cabin and without hesitation scooped me, bridal style, into his arms and began to fly to the Infirmary. 

I clawed at my throat, desperate for air, my lungs ached  for it. 

My vision started getting blurry and i croaked out "A-a-air", "HELP! GET HIM HELP!!! NOW!!!" JAson yelled. i never heard hims sound so desperate. There were bounding of feet hitting the ground as Jason layed me on top of one of the beds, i KNEW that percy was dealing with Leo so he couldn't be here or ...something.

Then i remembered....that girl....she kissed Leo.....

Leo...proposed? to her.....

I'm ready to DIE!!!" I screamed in my head since i felt so so week, so week i couldn't even speak well. 

I snapped out of my negative thoughts as Andy and 2 of her half brothers excamine me. "He has something wrong with his heart...." One of the Apollo brother's say, "Yeah, exreme emotional ache? either that or a weak heart." the other apollo guy says, Andy looks at me with a frown on her face "And from my conclusions it is EXTREMELY hard to heal, almost impossible actually....and..." She looked at her brothers who nodded "He was only suppose to live to 20....not 23..."

"So..te-technically i'm now...3 years dead?" I grumbled "No, no you are very much alive of course. just...wow" Andy says then shakes her head "Get Leo here".

"No!" I try to yelp but it sounded hoarse, she ignored me and Jason shot me an apologetic look as he flew off.

I blacked out with a groan as another ache started in my head.

When i awoke i saw Leo's head beside my hand, his hand clutching it. on top of...our hands was a note. out of curiousity i slowly oppened the note and tere was a ring tied to it, my heart ached even more because i rememered him with the girl. 

Hey Nic-Nic! (I smiled slightly)

When you read this i hope you're feeling better. you lost some blood because the apollo cabin got some of you're blood with the most sickness in it so i had to give you some of mine. i promise i did nothing with that girl okay? her name is calypso and i found her in an island when we were on our way to the doors of death, i swear i only USED to like her okay?

Anyway i hope you are feeling much better. i was going to propose to you, i was going to explain to her that i was going to propose to you but  she misunderstood. don't worry i explained to her already and she is now in a relationship with Will Solice, since she is like a million years old does that make her a pedophile? whatever don't answer that :P Anyway i hope we can still be together.....

I love you Nic-Nic, and if you die before reading this letter i don't know what i'd do.....i love you nico and i can't live without you...

I read the 4 last lines outloud. there were tears in my eyes and rolling down my cheeks but there was a smile on my face. "I love you to Leo Valdez...." I whispered. "Thank You" A muffled voice says into my hands and i look past the paper and saw Leo looking up at me in such an adorable way and his mouth was being covered by my hand.

"Don't cry neeks" Leo chuckled wiping my tears of my cheeks with his thumb "Hey...you've been out for a week..." Leo whispers. but i ignore that statement "Leo i'm sorry for misunderstanding as well....i'm sorry for maybe hurting you're feelings, i'm sorry that you have to put up with me, I'm sorry that-" My now my voice was cracky and i think i'm losing my voice "SSh.....don't be....i'm sorry aswell" Says Leo kissing my head and helping me take a sip of nectar.

"For what?" I said in confusion "You're already good enough to do you're normal stuff-" "THANK THE GODS!!!" I yelped "Shh no interupting!...but..." He continued "I...kind of....told everyone that......to....like....that...you would be there for dinner...." Leo says sofly.

I smile and chuckle "Don't worry about it"
