Chapter #15 ~Crushed~

-Nico's PoV-

I sighed and ran a finger through the side of my hair. did Leo....love me? was he also gay? what's happening to me?! 

I yelled in frustration and punched the wall of my cabin, it was my fault..... my fault that Leo had tried to suicide. I decided to walk to the infirmary so i took my usual jacket and wore a black shirt underneath and my usal black jeens and converse. i walked out and saw Jason.

I hesitantly smile at him and he looks a little shocked that i smiled but he returns the smile, though his smile showed mix emotions: Grief, Pain and....caring. Did jason care about me??? and not just in a brotherly way??

"Hey Jason" I smile as i walk to his side "Hey Nico, uhm.... you going to the infirmary?" He asks awkwardly and i nod, "Great. me too....do you think we can go together??" He says softly and looks down "Yeah sure" I say calmly shrugging.

We both walk together to the infirmary, we tried making small talk but the walk there was mostly in silence.

When we finally arrived we saw Leo laying down on a bed, the sheets were slightly stained with blood and his eyes were shut close but he was pale, although i could see he was alive still and i could also see (being the son of hades and all) i could also see that he was..well...dying.

-Leo's PoV-

My sides hurt like crazy, i could sense the presence of people...i think only 2 people around me, i tried to move but i couldn't i couldn't even open my eyes so i just layed there, i knew i was weak, and it was painful.really,really, painful. but i never knew this is what dying feels like.

~Flash~

"Leo!!!" I hear a scream and before i could turn around i was tackled from behind, i yelped and when i moved my head slightly i saw that it was Nico. he flipped me over so that i was looking up at him while he towered over me.

"Man! i missed you so much!!" He yelled and layed down on top of me, man he was light, "Nico!" I chuckled and messed up his hair then burst out laughign "I was only gone for 2 days!!". He pouted "That's a little too long don't ya think?" He says grinning and getting of me then helping me stand up.

I dusted myself off, "n-n-nico?!" I stuttered because when i look at him his face was twisted in pain, horrible burnign pain and i realize that i was holding his shoulder and my hand hat lit on fire.

"OH GOSH!!! NICO IM SORRY!!!" I screamed letting go of him and he crumbled to the ground yelling in pain "I'm f-f-fine L-leo" He stammers gasping for breath but he wasn't....

"L-leo...i'm d-dying" HE stammers, his breath bearly wheezes. "No!! No Nico no!!" I screamed kneeling beside him. "I'm sorry Leo..." He says

"I love you...." He says and that was the last time i heard him speak....and the last time i saw him close his eyes...forever.

~End of Flash~

My brain was proccessing with shock. i wanted to scream so badly yet i can't move my body. but with all the shock and pain i managed to flutter my eyes open and the first face i see was Nico.

Nico....oh gods..... 

"Hi Leo!!" Jason says and i see him quickly let go off...... we're Nico and Jason...HOLDING HANDS?!

I just blinked slowly "Uhm, here" Nico says holding a glass of nectar over my face and he places the straws on my lips. how i wish it was his lips instead of the straw.... i opened my mouth slightly and the straw goes in and i take a long drink. "Thanks" I croak out and Nico nods, placing the glass on the nightstand beside my bed....

"Wait....why am i here?- oh...." I looked down at my stomach and saw a bandage and the side was stained with blood "Right....." I finish slowly and they nod "You scared us half to death Leo!!" Jason half yells but i barely even flinch. my eyes were trained on Nico.

He fidgeted as if it was uncomfortable for him,...ouch... "Hi Leo....uhm.... do you feel....better?" Nico says awkwardly And this time i flinch "Not really, but the nectar helped" I say nodding once and i see Nico just nod. not even a trace of a smile on his face "WEll Leo, it's around 9 PM....i've got to go sleep" He says and walks away.

-Nico's PoV-

I walked to my cabin slamming the door behind me and layed down on my bed, fully dressed. oddly i find myself crying, "Why can't i remember anything about Leo?!" I grumbled out loud and clossed my eyes. i had a dream...if not a flash of memory.

-DREAM-

I saw myself, standing in some sort of ship. dream me was laying down on a hammok thing, "Leo!!! make me some drink will you?!" Dream me called and i flinched slightly as Leo walks in with a coke. "Yes master" He mockingly says bowing and dream me scowls but takes the drink.

The Dream Shifted to me and Leo sitting outside my cabin. a bag of mc' donald happy meal sitting on my lap and dream me was feeding Leo. and.....KISSED HIM.

"I love you Nico..." Leo says "I love you too Leo" Dream me says and they kiss some more while i watched, i felt an odd twidge of jealousy. dream me was kissing Leo...so it's no problem right? WRONG.

~End of Dream~

I woke up, gasping and sweaty, i remembered something!! I remembered some time in a roman camp, i also rememberd some twin 'giants' although they were fairly small for giants, i also remember monstourous nightmares when i ventureed into Tartarus. that wall some small things i remembered..... just mostly the bad things,

I groaned as i rolled out of bed and looked under my bed. i pulled out a peice of paper from under my bed. it was a picture of me and Leo. he was doign the peace sign and i was doing the rock sign.

"I'm so sorry Leo.... i don't remember much...." I grumbled shoving the picture in my pocket.

"Anyway who cares?! we would never had worked out anyway right?" I grumbled crumpling it up a little. ....Right?
