"Stop doubting yourself. Work hard and make it happen."

I woke up earlier than usual the next day as I wanted to be ready for the shoot. After taking a shower, I wore the first outfit I'll be wearing. Light blue boyfriend jeans along with a basic white crop top and tied a flannel shirt around my waist. I decided to apply a little makeup this time which was mainly just a subtle eye shadow and winged eyeliner and little bit of blush to add colour to my cheeks. I settled for a nude lip colour as it would go with every outfit.

I placed all the other things I'll be needing and dumped them in my backpack.

The door bell rung at 6.01 am.

"Morning cupcake." He greeted me with a bright smile.

"Morning." I chirped.
"Is it okay?" I asked him.

"Perfect." He winked at me.

"So whats the location?" I wondered.

"Well, I thought your house might be the best location to start. Since you're new, why don't you start from here itself? Your living room does actually look like one on tmblr." He suggested.

"Doesn't seem like a bad idea to me." I nodded in agreement.

It took us around two hours to get done with the first shoot since I changed into a couple of outfits, all which could be paired up with the same boyfriend jeans. He got so engrossed into it that I actually forgot its Derek and not some professional photographer. I could clearly see how passionate he was towards photography. He was so focused on the angle, lighting and every other detail to get a perfect shot. But even then, he was patient with my constant rants of not looking good enough to start a fashion blog and if my smile was a little more wide in one picture than the other and all sort of silly stuff.

I was still not sure if I can actually do this. I wanted to. It was something I was passionate about since a long time but was I even capable enough to do this? Would I be able to handle the criticism?
Urgh. Stop thinking about it.
Be positive. Its the first step towards your goal. If you're positive then you'll be able to produce better quality work and clearly the outcome will be better than what you expect.

I can do this and I will do this.

"This one's really good." I told Derek while lifting the screen of his DSLR towards him.

"Yeah." He mumbled and focused his attention back to the pancakes I cooked for us.

"Don't forget to edit them a little." He said  while adding extra chocolate syrup over his pancake.

"Yes Sir." "And don't you think you've started eating really unhealthy food after meeting me?"

"Dad never allows so much calories so naturally I'm bound to love these fluffy sugar filled pieces of heaven." He explained helping himself with the sixth or seventh pancake this morning.

Even though he was a guy he did have perfect table manners and wiped his face with the tissue and never spoke with his mouth full.

Keeping the camera aside, I started munching on the pancakes.

"Ashley why don't you open your own bakery?"

"Yeah right." I replied sarcastically.

"Can you bake something related to football?" He looked at me expectantly.
