"Escape and breathe the air of new places."

"So this is going to be our hotel for the trip." Celestie told us.

"Its so damn huge." Sarah gaped.

"It is." I nodded in agreement looking at the insanely huge and pretty seven star hotel.
The vast acre of land was put to good use by building a small golf course, garden area along with two pools. The pool area was something which would attract most of the customers as there was a lounge area right in front of it with a café and I could actually inhale the scent of pancakes which were being flipped.
The entire hotel was beige in colour with a few details in dark brown giving it a vintage vibe complimented by the soft tunes of voilin played by the hired group of talented people in the reception area.

We were greeted warmly by the staff members who served us the very famous french citron pressé as a welcome drink.
No wonder, New Orleans is known for its culture as the paintings hung up in the lounge area and in the lobby do no justice to this beautiful city and their culture.

New Orleans is a city with the fusion of the French, American and African cultures and for the people here, its a priority to keep the culture alive through various carnivals and parades attracting tourists from all over the world. It is located near the gulf of mexico and I've never been this excited to visit any place as I've been for New Orleans. Partly, the reason is The Originals. You all know my love for vampire diaries so when the spin off series aired, my heart was taken by political aspect and the entire city of New Orleans where the series was being filmed. Getting the opportunity to visit this city was just my luck!
I was eager to see the French quater and the cemetery which were the major places shown.

Startled? I was too.
Last week, I woke up to the best mail I've received in my entire existence! Not even exaggerating.

Remember Derek was recording every bit of our time in Catskills? I edited the video into a ten minute summary like a vlog and uploaded it on youtube. It started receiving so many views and all credits go to my amazing bestfriend for shooting the entire trip so beautifully. Right from the birthday cake to zip lining and the night view of the lake, historic places and the crazy stuff we did was all summed up in the vlog.

As high school kids, all of us would love the concept of travelling for free. Actually, fuck high school, even as grown ups we would love to travel without having to spend any dollars.
The very famous quote 'If travelling was free, you'd never see me again.' sounds too good to be true, doesn't it? Well, lucky for me because I get to experience that for the very first time in my life.

Last week, I was offered a four day paid travel trip by a clothing brand for their new winter clothing launch along with a few more reputed bloggers. As exciting as it sounds, I was a little nervous about it. I don't really think that I've achieved that level as yet to go on travel offers.
Its an opportunity for me to take blogging one more step ahead so obviously I did not turn it down.

I met Sarah at the airport, she's just so beautiful! If her strawberry blonde hair and green eyes are not enough to capture the heart then her bubbly personality will definitely draw you in. She dressed all bohemian but carried it so well that I could actually call it Sarah style or something. Among the three other bloggers, I connected with her almost instantly as she too had started blogging recently and was extremely passionate about it. It was her first travel offer like me.
Celestie was the marketing head of the store and in charge of the trip in New Orleans. Along with us four bloggers and Celestie, there were two photographers, co-owner of the store and few people from the technical department.
