"Let us dream of tomorrow, where we can truly love from the soul, and know love as the ultimate truth at the heart of all creation."

"You look so beautiful baby." Mom sniffs.

"I cannot believe its happening." Charlotte mutters, sobbing a little.

"Oh stop crying both of you." Elena rolls her eyes at the two ladies.

I check myself in the mirror, adjusting my dress and veil.

Yes, it was my wedding day.

After seven months of being engaged, we decided to get married. Needless to say, there were a lot of preparations to do and Parker came a month before the wedding to help the rest of our friends to plan out everything.

The dress was picked out by Victoria, mom and I. It was like love at first sight. The corset was white lace with a sweetheart neck line, net sleeves with lace patterns and the bottom was ball gown style with tules of ivory white flowing down. My make up consisted of warm toned eye make up and a bold red lipstick for a statement. My hair was left down and was styled into soft curls, which Derek loved a lot.

Elena was my maid of honour and Charlotte, Sarah and Pearl were my bridesmaid. Their dresses followed a pastel colour scheme and all of them looked so pretty.

"Oh my god." Victoria squeals as soon as she sees me.

"Oh stop it you all." Elena groans.
"I really don't wanna cry." She adds, her eyes tearing up a little.

"Don't make me cry." I complain.

"Sorry sorry." All of them mumble.

"Derek is so lucky to have you." Victoria says, tears in her kind blue eyes.

"Its the other way round, trust me." I blush thinking about the memories we've created over these months, as a couple.

We were in a live in relationship for a month and I swear it was the happiest I had ever been. Waking up next to him was like a dream and I don't think I'll ever get used to it or his cheeky little grin and his adorable laugh.

I don't understand what is it about him that makes him so fascinating? The fact that he conquered my heart so easily, his inappropriate sexual humour, the way he gets all my random references or just his existence in general.

During my time of the month, he would pamper me like a little kid, by preparing breakfast, taking me out on dates, getting me junk food, stocking up the refrigerator with ice cream and back massages.

And amongst all this, he was still my best friend. We still joked around on everything, use flirty pick up lines, fight over things as minuscule as the tv shows to watch and who's turn it is to wash dishes.

Seeing us, Elena somehow gathered the courage to ask Rohit out. Yes, she actually proposed him. They're pretty keen on PDA but who cares, they're cute and perfect.

Somehow, Parker and Charlotte are finding ways to be together despite the long distance.

Jacob managed to come out of the closet in front of his parents. Yes, he's gay and the minute he shared this with me, I was jumping and hugging him telling that I've always wanted a gay best friend. Other than Derek, nobody knew about it and it was surprising that he hid it for so long due to the fact that his parents were super strict. I could finally see him all stress free and happy.
