27: Plans

"No ways." I said determined.

"Its a good plan." Jacob pouted.

"You have to agree." Parker narrowed his eyes at me.

"Common, you gotta get your guy back." Charlotte said.

My guy? Eh.

"He's not my guy."

"Say you're in." Parker said.

"Ugh its a stupid one. We aren't fourteen." I whined.

"It will work."

The four of us were sitting in my living room. Both of them came up with the silliest plan I've ever heard. It sounded like they got the plan out of mean girls book or something.
They wanted me to pretend to date Jacob or Parker, anyone of them in an attempt to make Derek jealous. Stupid right?

"If he does get jealous, then what?"

"You'll see." Jacob grinned.

"I hate both of you."

"That means you're in." Parker smirked.

"So which one of you will it be?" I asked laying my head on Charlotte's shoulder. I was almost on the verge of getting high and the only thing keeping me sober was this silly little plan.

"I think it should be Parker since he's known Jacob since childhood and he'll figure it out that you guys are pretending." Charlotte suggested.

"You have a point." Parker nodded.

"Oh common ya." Jacob pouted making all of us laugh.

"Eww I'm not going to pretend to date my so called brother."

"The feeling is mutual." Parker smiled.

"Derek doesn't know that he's like your brother." Jacob said.

"We can even glitter bomb that annoying bitch." Charlotte said.

I laughed picturing Emily completely covered with sparkly pink glitter.

My phone started to ring.

"Its Derek."

"Let me pick up." Parker smirked.

"Put it on speaker." Jacob grinned.

"Ash, you okay? Why did you guys leave so early? You're not high right? Where are you?" He shot all these questions as soon as Parker picked up the phone.

"Relax. She's with me so obviously she's okay." Parker said.

"Uh oh. Can you give her the phone?"

"Actually she's sleeping and If I move I might disturb her."

"What?"

"Nothing. I'll ask her to give you a call tomorrow." and with that he hung up.

"You were rude to him." I complained.

"I had to be. Now text him tomorrow and ask him for dinner. A double date. Derek and Emily and you and me, okay?" Parker asked.

"fine." I sighed.

"So can we partayyyyy now?" Jacob chuckled.

"Celebrating the success of your plan already?" I winked at him.

"His call just proved that its going to work." He grinned lifting me up in swift motion.

"Lets get the party started." Parker grinned and played songs on the speaker.
