22: Parker

"All that I'm after is full of laughter."

It seems like a strange response to break down in tears when you're happy. Maybe this is a way for the body to restore emotional equilibrium.
Nevertheless, I shed tears of joy, standing there in front of him, unable to speak or move.

He stepped in front of me and wiped my tears. He was for real. I'm not imagining this, he's actually here.

Parker.

"How?" I mumbled.

"For you." He winked.

He too had tears in his eyes. Those adorable grey eyes of his, I missed him so much.

"I still can't believe." I whispered and just hugged him. Afraid as if it was my imagination or he'll run away.

I don't know for how long I sobbed into his chest whispering how much I missed him and needed him while he just stroked my hair and kept on mumbling that he was here now.

"But how did this happen?" I managed to say without sobbing.

"Derek contacted me via instagram and asked me if there was any chance I could be here on your birthday. I was planning to come this christmas but then he kind of forced me to come on your birthday." He chuckled.

"He gets what he wants." I smiled.

"I figured that. Before I could deny, there was a ticket booked under my name to New York."

"He did? Oh my god."

"Yes. He cares for you Ash, he has been planning this since a month. That guy has worked really hard for you so that you can celebrate your birthday. He even contacted your mom but.."

"Dad didn't let her come, right?"

"Yes." He whispered leaning his forehead against mine.

"Its okay. You're here." I told him and burried my head in his chest making him chuckle.

"You haven't changed at all. You still cry at all silly matters, don't you?" He teased me.

"Shutup." I stuck my tongue out at him.

"And by the way, your friend Charlotte is hot." He winked.

I just rolled my eyes at that.

"I stayed at her place last night. Derek and Charlotte came to pick me up at the airport. I was going to stay at a motel for the night but Charlotte insisted that I should stay at her place." My eyes widened at this piece of information.

"You landed here last night?" I shouted.

"Yes." He shrugged.
"Derek couldn't take me to his place since you were coming over today and he wasn't taking any chances to risk you knowing about it." He added.

Oh Derek.

"And then I came here along with them. You're lucky to have them in your life Ashley, especially Derek. Don't let anyone of them go."

"I know. I love each and everyone."

"Oh and I think Ashton has hots for you."

"Ashton?"

"I guess. I would've asked Charlotte but I figured that it wasn't my position to ask."

"No. He's just a silly one."
"Lets go back to the others." I told him.

"So for how long are you in New York?" I asked.

"Two weeks." He grinned.

"Thats great! We'll have so much fun." I squealed.
