"Á la belle ètoile"

Derek's POV

"God I'm so tired right now." Ashley exclaimed sitting down on the bed.

"We'll grab dinner soon. Rest for a while." I said.

"Ugh I'm going to go for a shower."

"Take your clothes this time as now I'll directly step in." I smirked.

"Ya ya." She rolled her eyes at me and started taking out things from her backpack.

"Here." I handed her out of my favourite tshirt.

I've never really lended my tshirt or jacket to anyone else before. Last night she casually asked me to lend my shirt and I obliged. Truth is, my shirt looks better on her. I don't know why but I liked it seeing her wear my clothes and walk around in it freely in front of everyone.

"Amm thanks." She smiled shyly and went to the washroom.

I found myself smiling for absolutely no reason at all.
What are you doing to me Ashley?

"I'm so full now." Parker commented after the dinner.

"Well, you eat like a pig." Ashley stated.

"Whatever."

"There's a bornfire happening in the garden area so anyone up for it?" Ashton asked.

"In." "Yes."
Obviously, everyone was up for it. Even though we were tired, nobody wanted to miss out on the fun.

There were a few people already gathered in the garden area. Ashley and I shared a log and the rest of them settled nearby. There was a huge can of beers and other drinks nearby along with a stall for food. There were s'mores and hamburgers.
Each of us picked something or the other and I planned to stay sober for the night.

Parker got his guitar and started playing a few songs.
That guy does have some talent, if you ask me. Ashley seems so happy today and I can't thank him enough for coming here. I've never seen her smile so brightly before and her eyes twinkled with genuine happiness. I guess Parker was the key to her happiness.

"This one's for you Ash." He grinned and started playing This Town by Niall.

Argh this song again. Its a good one but she was totally obssessed with it. Yesterday I must've heard this song atleast five to seven times on our way here.

A few couples were dancing around the bornfire and loving Parker's voice. Elena and Rohit were one of them, Jacob and Ashton were dancing like couples too! Both of them are equally crazy.

"Can I have a dance?" I smiled at her cheekily handing out my hand.

Well, its her day today so I'll manage listening to this song.

"It will be my pleasure." She blushed taking my hand.

I wrapped my arms around her tiny waist and leaned my head on hers. We swayed slowly to the song, her hands wrapped around my neck. Dancing with her always makes me smile. I can't really dance much but with her, everything seems to just fall in place.
