We stand in the girl's changing room getting ready for P.E and I'm once again stuck with having to quickly change to hide my stretch marks on my stomach and the long, think scar line where I had my stomach cut open from the cesarean. Giving birth to Isa had effects on my body I hadn't expected. Everything seemingly went back to normal other than the marks on my lower stomach and now I fear ever being shirtless in front of anyone. No one at the school knows I have a kid. I stayed at school as long as I could until the pregnancy started to really show then I left until I had her. I had Isa in the Summer on June 24th so I had the whole summer with her before I had to come back to school. I wasn't close to many people so my absence wasn't massively noticed. She's a year old now and I'm in my last year at school so soon I'll be rid of school and can focus on being a parent. It is lonely though. Everything is just: work, school and the baby. Zero social life.
I close my locker and tie my laces before heading to the hall. It's raining outside so both the boys and girl's P.E groups are sharing the hall.
"Badminton! Get into pairs." The teacher calls and I sigh. Great, I'm going to look like a loser when I'm the only one without a partner. After everything, I don't really have friends anymore. I get a racket and shuttlecock and just mess about with it, not even bothering to find a partner.
"Want to work with me?" I grab the shuttle mid-air and turn to find a very tall and very handsome guy looking at me with a smile.

( (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧ I was trying to find Jin in some work out clothes and was not disappointed when I came across this.)
I look at him a little, confused if he was in fact talking to me or not. "You want to pair up with me?" I ask. He nods with a little smile.
"My friends and I are an odd number so when I saw you lacking a partner I volunteered to be the odd man out." I shrug.
"Uh, sure okay." I smile at him and pass him a racket. He looks over to his friends and gives them a thumbs up. Surely enough there are six other people several meters away from us giving him a little wave.
"Oh, I forgot to introduce myself." He says catching my attention back from his friends. "I'm Kim Seok-Jin but you can just call me Jin." He smiles cutely and I can't help but smile too.
"I'm Raye Scarlet. You can just call me Scarlet or Scar for short." His smile brightens more if that's even possible.
"Scar, that's a cool nickname." I internally cringe. It hadn't clicked till just now that my nickname is something that I hate most about myself. I guess I must have not introduced myself with my nickname for a long time.
"Uh, thanks," I say awkwardly.
After a while of aimlessly playing badminton, I start to get distracted due to how boring this game is. We had kept up a pretty good score till I missed from not concentrating. "You thinking about something?" He asks, walking over to the net separating us and leans on it, looking at me.
