Window Crush - Jungkook

"Maddie! Can you turn down your music?!" Beth, my friend, yells as she comes crashing into my room while I danced about. I stop and laugh.

"This is my apartment, don't like the music, go to yours." I flash her a smile and dance about more. 

"But you have good wifi." She moans. 

"Then stop complaining, the wifi comes with my music." She groans and closes the laptop she had carried in.

"Actually I think my work is done, I'm going for dinner with Tony, imma go to mine and get ready. Text ya later." She says. I click both my fingers and do finger guns. 

"Coolio." I reply. She rolls her eyes.

"You're going to be single for life if you keep doing that." I do it again and she laughs, leaving the room then the apartment calling goodbye as she exits. The song switches to 'That Girl - Jung Yong Hwa'.

The songs keep changing between many genres. It's a big range but over all it's the perfect playlist, well to me anyway. Everyone I know isn't really into my taste. I then get a text from Beth and see a picture of someone's tweet.

I can hear someone playing music in their house. It's basically every song downloaded on my phone. WHO ARE YOU? WHERE ARE YOU?

Who's Jungkook? Why did Beth send me this? I don't understand how this relates to me, everyone plays music loudly, he's not talking about me. She then proceeded to say that it must be me. I laugh at her fan girling but I'm not dumb enough to think that this has anything to do with me. I scroll through his twitter as the music is still playing and a Justin Bieber song starts to play making me pause and ghost play the piano with my fingers. (A/N I don't like Bieber's music but ik Jungkook does so yeah) I go back to his Twitter and see a picture of him. Oooohh, Beth showed me some of his music videos. He's in a boy group, they're very talented. I see Jungkook has tweeted again.

I pause and think for a second. Well it could just be a coincidence... Yes we both live in Seol and yes I'm playing the same song he's hearing very loudly but I'm not the only person in Seol playing this song loudly... surely. But if it was me, are we in the same building? The building across? I consider tweeting him but I notice Beth has tweeted at him.

I think it's my friend's music you can hear. Name a song and I'll tell her to put it on.

She also tags my twitter account so he'd be able to see me. Why does she think he'd reply to her out of everyone claiming to be the person playing the music? Suddenly I get a message of a screen shot. Jungkook has dm'd her with the name of a song! It a BTS song. The music starts. 'Eoseo wa bangtaneun cheoeumiji?' I haven't heard this before. Then I'm sent another screenshot from Beth. 'Haha I can hear it! It's her!' He had messaged her back. Beth is freaking out. So it is me he can hear! But where the heck does he live? Suddenly I get a message on twitter. Jungkook?!

Jk - 'Don't take the marriage proposal too seriously, I'm not ready for something so adult. '

I laugh at his message and reply :

Maddie - 'Oh good, I was just thinking of if I could fit through my window to escape this situation.😂'

I sit on my windowsill with a pillow behind my back and my laptop on my knees. My curtain keeps on catching on my elbow so I open it and push it out of the way. As I wait for a response I change the song playing to 'Ain't no rest for the wicked' then look out the window. As I do so, I see a guy also sat by his window on his laptop typing. He's in the block of flats across from mine. He's literally right across from me, has he ever seen me through my window before?! I look back to my laptop when I hear that I've been messaged.
