I heard a knock on the door and headed up to it.

I opened it and saw Hailey with a platter of cookies in her hands.

I invited her inside and put the platter of cookies on the counter.

She laughed and ran over to tackle Ethan.

I smiled at them because they were in their natural habitat and it just made me smile.

Grayson came running down and jumped into the pile.

They finally pulled apart and sat down like human beings.
