|STATING THE OBVIOUS|

"Why does the blue wire have to connect to the green box?"

Pidge sighed before answering your question. "Because the blue wire it the conductor and the green box it the power source."

"Oh." You nodded, not really understanding the Altean tech in front of you.

Pidge stood from her work bench and walked over to the shelf in the other side of the room, attempting to reach a box of scrap metal in the top shelf.

"Lemme grab that for ya." You said, reaching over Pidge and taking the box down.

You saw a ghost of a blush pass over her cheeks and it made butterflies dance in your stomach.

"That reminds me, do you want to have like. . . a sleepover I guess? In my room?"

Pidge dropped the box of metal on the floor and you kneeled down to help her clean it up.

"You don't have to say yes, we can do something else-"

"Yes."

You smiled. "Really?"

Pidge nodded. "I said yes, but if I don't get this finished by dinner I'm going to have to change my mind."

Your smile stretched from ear to ear, and you quickly kissed the tip of Pidge's nose. "I'll leave you to it then."

Since you and Pidge were more than likely going to be up late playing video games or watching old, choppy Altean films, you decided to take a nap one of the common room couches.

"Wait, were we supposed to think you were a boy?"

You woke up to the sound of Coran's voice, but kept your eyes shut, deciding to ease drop on the conversation taking place around you.

"Shh!" Pidge hissed. "(Y/N) doesn't know."

"(Y/N) doesn't know? Shouldn't she have been the first one you told?" Shiro asked.

"No! I'm not ready to tell her. What if she decides that it's weird and not talk to me anymore."

You decided to open your eyes at that moment and you slowly sat up, rubbing the sleep out of your eyes.

"What's everyone doing?" You asked.

Everyone's faces looked extremely uncomfortable and guilty.

"We were about to wake you up to come to dinner. Hunk tried to flavour it like something called 'lasagna'." Allura said.

"Alright, if there was food involved why did you hesitate you wake me?" You laughed, wrapping an arm around Pidge's shoulders and leading the way towards the dining room.

What was everyone hiding from you?

After dinner, you went back to your room to set everything up for you and Pidge, and about twenty minutes after you had piled all your blankets on the bed, your door slid open.

"Pidge! I don't know how to set up your video console so I thought I'd leave that to you, but I got everything else set up and-"

"(Y/N)."

You looked up to see Pidge standing awkwardly in the doorway, staring at her shoes.

"What's up?" You asked, concerned.

"I have to tell you something. I told everyone else earlier but you were asleep."

You sat down on the bed and patted the spot beside you. Pidge sat down and twiddled her thumbs.

"I- I'm a girl."

There was a long pause before you started laughing.

"Pidge, I know you're a girl."

Her eyes grew in size. "You do? How?"

"It wasn't hard to put together after the first week of knowing you. You showered after everyone else was in bed, you shave your legs and you always cover yourself up when we go swimming."

Pidge looked down at her feet and tapped the tips of her shoes together. "I thought you'd stop liking to me if you knew."

You took Pidge's face in your hands, squishing her cheeks together. "I like you for everything you are, girl or not." You said, and kissed her nose like always. "Now, Altean movie or video games first?"

My Hunk and Pidge chapters are going to be really short I think. Mostly because Pidge is so young and innocent and Hunk is a big cuddly bear that I feel awkward writing stuff about them.

Oh... and I just finished season four AND THE SHEER LACK OF KEITH CONTENT HAS NE SCREAMING.
