~Smut Scale: 4~
|BACK HOME|

"Hey Allura, now that we've defeated Zarkon, can we visit Earth?" Lance asked.

Everyone was seated in the dinning room, eating taco flavoured food goo that Hunk had thrown together for lunch. They had defeated Zarkon almost a month ago and had been working on helping restore other planets that had been under the empires rule, but now they were taking a break.

"I don't think so, Lance. The universe still needs Voltron."

"But we haven't formed Voltron since we defeated Zarkon! All we do is go from planet to planet showing off the lions and helping clean up the Galra's mess. I have family back home that probably all think I'm dead!"

"Lance, stop being selfish." Keith mumbled.

Fire burned in Lance's stomach. "Selfish? How is wanting to reassure my family I'm not dead selfish? Wait, you probably don't understand since you grew up in an orphanage, right?"

"Lance." Shiro said in a warning tone.

(Ye he's not missing. It's my story I do what I want)

"I don't understand? I probably understand more than you do! I left the one person I loved to come here! Not to mention I left her right after our caretaker died, leaving her with six orphans to take care of!"

Keith slammed his spoon down before standing from the table and making his way to the training room to let off some steam.

He didn't want anyone other than Shiro to know about you. You were his rock, the sun in his sky, his everything, and he just left you without so much as a word. He couldn't imagine how much it hurt you to think he was dead or missing somewhere in space.

"Start training sequence one." He mumbled, preparing his bayard.

He put all his anger into his fighting, sending limbs belonging to the gladiators flying across the room before moving on to the next one.

"End training sequence."

Keith looked up and saw Shiro standing in the doorway with his arms crossed.

"Why did you do that?"

Shiro sat on one of the benches against the wall. "Because you're going to hurt yourself if you keep going like that. Wanna talk about it?"

"Talk about what?" Keith grumbled.

"About what happened at lunch. About (Y/N)."

Keith froze at the mention of your name. It had been so long since he'd heard someone say it out loud.

"There's nothing to talk about. She's back on Earth and I'm out here. There's no way of getting to see her so there's no point in thinking about it."

Shiro frowned. "It's okay to admit you're hurting, Keith. Even heroes of the universe have their weaknesses."

"Whatever. Can you leave so I can keep training?"
